INSPIRATION
JOURNEY
Sebastian’s vision is inspired by our diverse Australian landscapes and relaxed way of life. The material palette incorporates natural fibres and sustainable, recycled polyester, with a focus on handloomed, knotted, and woven techniques.
I found my inspiration in the Australian lifestyle and diversity of our natural landscapes - Sebastian Nash
PURE NEW ZEALAND WOOL
All King Living wool rugs are crafted from 100% pure New Zealand wool - known for naturally soft fibres, longevity, and sustainability benefits.
Wool is a natural, resilient fibre with a luxurious feel underfoot. Wool rugs offer excellent insulation properties, giving warmth in winter and remaining cool in summer. They’re hypoallergenic, and the weave helps to resist dust mites, mould, and mildew naturally.
SUSTAINABLE, RECYCLED POLYESTER
Evoking the beauty of natural fibres, our rugs crafted with this yarn are derived entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Hardwearing and fully sustainable, recycled polyester is easy to maintain and clean, making it ideal for busy indoor and outdoor living spaces.
CRAFTED BY ARTISANS
Our new collection features hand-loomed, hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs. Each style utilises different weaving techniques to create the resulting texture.
Hand-loomed rugs offer various textures and thickness completely unique to each rug.
Hand-knotted rugs are known for their intricate pile and exceptional craftsmanship.
Hand-woven rugs feature a flatweave that creates an organic look and highly textural feel.
