Kirstie Cohen Seven New Paintings

Kirstie Cohen’s landscapes are at first geographical. Looking at them we see sky, cloud and ocean, laid down with Cohen’s rare and rich layers of oil paint, but they are also psychological. Kirstie Cohen uses paint to express an internal monologue; of light, colour and change – which takes her paintings deeper into the changing worlds of landscape and our own darknesses and lights.
