It’s no secret that it took me a while to (reluctantly) jump on the barrel pant train. While we now offer the style from a number of vendors and in various fabrications, it’s still not necessarily my go-to when pulling for a client, and I strongly believe it’s not for everyone. However, there’s one this season that rises above all and quickly became one of my favorite pieces in the store – The Slouchy BF Trouser from TWP in a beautiful chocolate brown leather. I remember seeing these for the first time in the TWP showroom and knowing that they’d be a hit. TWP does leather very well and with a slimmer profile than most other barrel pants, these screamed effortless cool but in a refined, flattering, and feminine way. The navy colorway all but sold in just a couple weeks earlier this season, and we already only have a few sizes left in the brown so don’t sleep on these!

FOR FALL/WINTER 2026 Winter may not be my favorite season, but I must admit, I am so excited about our beautiful new MooRER coat collection. Luxurious, timeless, and effortlessly chic—these coats make braving the cold a little more exciting. The Dorado is an elegant winter coat—more refined than a typical puffer—with a beautiful, removable fur collar. It’s the perfect combination of sophistication and warmth. The Zagara is a long, very warm, sporty-down coat with a detachable hood trimmed in fur. Stylish, cozy, and perfect for those really cold winter And then there is my favorite, the Lenie – A gorgeous, contemporary winter jacket with a detachable down jacket that allows you to wear it three different ways. I have been loving Fabiana Filippi’s fall collection this year, and these two pieces are definitely my favorites. The Donegal lurex sweater immediately stood out to me because of all the different flecks of color throughout the plush knit. It makes the sweater incredibly easy to pair with almost any pant or jean since you can pull out so many different tones depending on how you style it. I also love the button detailing along the sleeves. It is such a unique detail, but it also gives the sweater more versatility because the buttons can be worn closed for a more traditional look or undone to create a softer, almost cape like silhouette. My favorite pant to pair with this sweater is the Oversized Cargo Flannel Trouser. I love the wide, relaxed silhouette and the way the grey flannel makes the pant feel elevated while still being easy to wear. The elasticated waist gives them a more casual feel, but you can still add a belt to dress them up, with the filo diamante loop at the back adding a subtle signature detail to those in the know. I especially love these two pieces together because the relaxed proportions feel effortless, while the texture, subtle shine, and thoughtful details keep the look polished and special for any occasion. For Dorothee Schumacher, fashion began with a feeling: the desire to be feminine, bold, individual and, above all, oneself. When she founded her label in 1989, women’s fashion was often defined by opposing rules, power suits or mini skirts, strength or femininity. Schumacher saw an opportunity in that tension, creating clothing that celebrated the beauty of contradiction and the many facets of a woman’s identity. Born in Düsseldorf and raised in the German countryside, Schumacher gained early experience with an Italian knitwear manufacturer before spending time in France. She launched her eponymous label with a T-shirt collection in 1989, expanding into knitwear three years later. Her first showroom opened in Düsseldorf in 1994, followed by locations in Paris and Milan, as the brand established a growing presence in Italy and beyond.

In 1998, Schumacher created the foundation for her headquarters in Mannheim’s industrial port, transforming a former cardboard factory into a distinctive two-story loft. The brand has since evolved into a comprehensive women’s fashion house encompassing ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories. Schumacher’s philosophy is rooted in individuality. Her designs are intended to help women express who they are without saying a word, whether they are mothers, travelers, partners, friends, visionaries or creators. Rather than prescribing a single ideal, she encourages women to embrace every role and contradiction that makes them unique. In 2014, the label was renamed DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER, further personalizing the brand. Her son, Maximilian Singhoff, joined as second CEO in 2017. By its 30th anniversary in 2019, the company had established the United States as its second-strongest market, strengthening its international ambitions. Today, Schumacher’s collections reach 46 countries through more than 600 retail doors, with 11 independent stores and popups. Supported by a team of 180 employees from more than 16 countries, Dorothee Schumacher continues to build a fashion world where individuality, rather than conformity, is the ultimate style statement. •••
