A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS
As we enter our 22nd season of dance we look forward to bringing professionalism in a nurturing creative environment to Kickit Dance Studio. We are thrilled to enter this new season and anticipate all of the development and opportunities that await our dancers. At Kickit Dance Studio we have had the incredible honour of being able to be a part of many dancers’ lives from across Winnipeg and we look forward to continuing to share our passion and love for dance this upcoming year.
We are beyond thankful for our teachers and assistants who demonstrate a professional attitude and make sure the dancers are nurtured, valued, encouraged and challenged. At Kickit we not only want to make sure students reach their full potential as dancers but also create an environment that allows students to develop their character as people and citizens.
From our Two & You class right through to our Adult, we strive daily to create a place where you feel like you belong the moment you enter your class. We will continue to work hard and ensure open communication with our dancers and their families to ensure we continue to provide an atmosphere that made Kickit what it is today!

DRESS CODE
Our dress code is gender neutral and dancers can choose which option is most comfortable for them. Dancewear must be form fitted and allow instructors to properly see alignment to prevent injuries and incorrect habits.
Preschool
Long sleeve pink bodysuit, pink or skin-tone tights with feet OR solid black or white fitted t-shirt with black shorts or athletic pants. Pink/skin tone/black ballet slippers. Skirts are not permitted. Movers & Shakers will require Tap shoes in January.
Ballet
Black sleeveless leotard and pink/skin-tone tights OR white crew neck dance t-shirt and black opaque tights. Pink, Skin-Tone, Black split sole ballet slippers (Pink/skintone will be used for all performances)
Tap
Black sleeveless leotard, black tights with feet (optional fitted dance shorts or leggings) OR solid black or white fitted t-shirt with black shorts or athletic pants. Black oxford style tap shoe (patent tap shoe optional for Junior 2 Tap)
Jazz/Musical Theatre
Black sleeveless leotard, black tights with feet (optional fitted dance shorts) OR solid black or white fitted t-shirt with black shorts or athletic pants. Black split sole jazz shoe. Competitive Jazz may require black or skin-tone jazz shoes for performance.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Black sleeveless leotard, black footless tights/fitted leggings OR solid black or white fitted t-shirt with black shorts or athletic pants. May wear split sole jazz shoes, bare feet or foot undies.
Hip Hop
Street clothes that allow free movement, no jeans permitted. CLEAN indoor running shoes/sneakers.
Acro
Black sleeveless leotard, black footless tights/fitted leggings OR solid black or white fitted t-shirt with black shorts or athletic pants. No shoes.
Hair
Long hair must be tied back (bun required for Ballet and Jazz)
FEE SCHEDULE
2026 / 2027
Fees for the season from September 14th, 2026 to June 2027 are divided in 4 equal payments. The registration fee of $25.00 per student, plus GST is added to the first payment.
We accept Visa and MasterCard with Pre-Authorized Automatic/Recurring Payment Plan at registration. Your credit card will be charged the first payment when you register. At registration you will give us authorization to process the remaining payments on October 1st, January 1st, and March 1st.
