THE INGREDIENTS

Cocamide, infused with Sea Silk, is a powerful extract from red algae that repairs damaged hair fibers and increases hydration. The formula deeply nourishes the hair, resulting in up to 55% more smoothness compared to untreated hair.*

Tip: Mix Color pigments are less stable due to a lack of natural base. Therefore, do not apply pure Mix Colors directly to the hair. Always mix them with a Semi Color shade.

This sulfate-free formula stops the oxidation process with Vitamin E and removes the residual pigment from the hair and scalp. Natural citric acid closes the cuticles after a color treatment. → Color-treated, bleached, or damaged hair

1. Mix 1ml/g Bond Fusion Phase 1 per 20ml/g color or lifting powder*** (including developer). Apply mixture, and process as usual.

2. Rinse well and shampoo hair with After Color Shampoo.

3. If proceeding with toner, apply and process. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry the hair.

4. Apply Bond Fusion Phase 2 from scalp to ends. Leave in for at least 5 minutes. Rinse well.

5. Use Bond Fusion Phase 3 once every 5 washes to protect the hair.

Or, use as stand-alone treatment: Mix 4ml/g Bond Fusion Phase 1 with 8ml/g Bond Fusion Phase 2. Apply on clean and towel-dry hair, process for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

The Repeat Coloring Treatment

RECOMMENDED FOR

Clients seeking a repeat service after a previous Semi Color treatment. This service touches up the roots and freshens the color of the mid-length and ends according to the Glow Treatment. By adding After Color Balsam to the formula, this will add character and very little color level change.

01 Cleanse

Shampoo the hair with Care Perfect Clarity Clarifying Shampoo and towel dry.

Apply Formula A

1. Thoroughly mix formula A using an applicator or a bowl.

2. Apply mixture to roots and process for 20 minutes.

Apply Formula A

1. Thoroughly mix formula B using an applicator or a bowl.

2. Apply to mid-lengths and ends. Process for 5-20 minutes depending on the desired degree of glow.

MIXING RATIO

When it’s time to touch up hair colored with Tinta Color, we recommend the Dual Coloring Treatment. This color technique gives longlasting color results, while treating the hair in the mildest way possible. Use Tinta Color to touch up roots or to lighten natural hair at the roots. Use Semi Color for mid-lengths and ends to keep the hair in optimal condition, when refreshing a light color, mid-lengths, or ends that have adjusted two levels. Semi Color on dry hair can result in half a level darker in color. Because of this we recommend adding Semi Color Clear to the formula.

Formula A: Tinta Color formula

Formula B: 2 parts Semi Color + 1 part Semi Color Clear + Semi Color Activator, Liquid Activator, or Activator Intense

The Glazing Treatment BLONDE

RECOMMENDED FOR

Semi Color Ultimate Glaze is a color product that is solely comprised of character, no color level. Like a shiny lip gloss for hair, the Glaze Treatment is a mild way to add fresh character to hair without burdening the hair structure.

When toning the hair, always use the mildest formula possible. The Toning Treatment with Semi Color Ultimate Blonde Toners is the best option. Ultimate Blonde Toners are ready-made toner formulas, for cool, neutral and warm tones. They are perfect for neutralizing the most stubborn pigments at levels 9-10, or if you want to boost or intensify a tone.

The Grey Blending Treatment

RECOMMENDED FOR

Semi Color is perfect for making the first grey hairs look less noticeable, or for making very grey hair look slightly less grey. With the Grey Blending Treatment grey hair is covered subtly by using a Fashion Color. As Semi Color naturally releases from the hair, the regrowth will appear gradual and softer.

The Grey Shading Treatment

RECOMMENDED FOR

This is the perfect compromise for clients who don’t like the regrowth and upkeep of a permanent color, but are not yet ready to go completely grey. The Grey Shading Treatment ensures that up to 70% of the grey hair is covered by adding a Natural Color to the formula. This ensures the natural contrast of the usual color and the grey hair is maintained. Because the color used in this service naturally releases from the hair, the regrowth will appear gradual and softer.

The Corrective Treatment

RECOMMENDED FOR

When hair color has adjusted more than two color levels, hair has less color pigment and warmth. To replenish this lack of underlying pigment, the Corrective Treatment uses the back-to-back technique by applying Semi Color twice. This results in a strong build-up of pigment, longer-lasting color and a gentle, yet effective color treatment.

Determine Desired Target Color (Level + Tone)

When using a whole tube (60 ml), add 8 ml to the formula. When using a half tube (30 ml), add 4 ml to the formula.

To compensate for the lack of underlying pigment, while still achieving the desired result, add a Semi Color Mix Color to the first formula. Consult the chart above to choose the appropriate Mix Color to achieve the preferred color level.

02 Cleanse

Shampoo the hair using Care Perfect Clarity Clarifying Shampoo.

03 Apply 1st Formula and Rinse

1. Thoroughly mix Semi Color with Semi Color Mix Color and Semi Color Activator or Liquid Activator (mixing ratio 1:2) using an applicator bottle or bowl and brush.

2. Apply to towel-dried hair and process for 20 minutes.

3. Thoroughly rinse and towel dry the hair.

04 Apply Target Shade

Apply the same target shade you used in Step 3, this time without the Mix Color, or determine the second formula based on the results after using the first formula. This is the moment to add extra warmth, a cooler color – or a lighter shade.

Apply 2nd Formula

1. Thoroughly mix Semi Color with Semi Color Activator or Liquid Activator (mixing ratio 1:2) using an applicator bottle or a bowl and brush.

2. Apply the second formula to towel-dried hair and process for 15-20 minutes.

CREATIVE

1. After rollers and end papers have been placed in the hair, neutralize the hair.

2. Carefully remove the rollers and end papers and neutralize again.

3. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry the hair.
