How to Target New Movers
The average American moves 11-12 times in their lifetime, meaning the profile of a new mover is never set in stone. With that out of the way, the typical new mover is fully employed, living with a partner or spouse, aged between 25 and 34 with a couple of kids, and has a household income under $100,000.
Mail also gives you the ability to target only new movers accurately, saving you valuable dollars along the way. Include offers and even samples of other work you have done in the past to showcase why you should be chosen over a competitor. Your goal is to get your foot in the door, and a direct mail campaign does that efficiently and effectively.

Ke e pi ng Your Marketi ng E fforts H ealthy Th is Back-to-School Season. The pandemic has significantly impacted various industries, but the healthcare sector has experienced a notable shift. The healthcare industry has seen an increase in spending, with the U.S. healthcare spending reaching nearly $4.3 trillion in 2021 (this is a graphic). As a result, healthcare has become one of the largest industries in the United States. Here’s what businesses need to be aware of in the current market:

The rise of digital communication has led to an increase in clutter, causing consumers to feel overwhelmed by the constant influx of emails and notifications. As a result, people may be more likely to engage with physical marketing materials that they can touch and interact with, rather than digital content. Direct mail marketing can be a powerful tool for businesses to build trust and establish authority in their practice area. By creating effective campaigns, businesses can engage with their intended audience and nurture strong connections with customers. These efforts are crucial for any successful business looking to increase engagement and establish a strong foothold in their respective industries. By combining direct mail with digital marketing efforts, businesses and marketers can create a well-rounded marketing strategy that reaches a broader audience while still providing the personal touch. Healthcare, apart from telemedicine, is all about location. Patients need to know where they can go for tests or examinations, pick up prescriptions, and get treated.
- Postcards: You can include your hours of operation and services and even a personalized map to show the location of your facility in relation to the addressee’s house using variable data printing.
- Newsletter: These pieces can have tips on living a healthy lifestyle. You can provide content focusing on the importance of regular health screening, empowering individuals to change or improve their health conditions, and navigating the healthcare and health insurance system. Your goal should be to nurture the patient relationship with knowledge and empathy and include a call to action to encourage customers to be drawn to your website or facility.

Strategic Marketi ng for Non-Profits Direct mail has proven to be an effective tool for nonprofits to raise funds and awareness for their cause. By using direct mail campaigns, nonprofits can showcase their initiatives and mission to potential donors and volunteers, while also providing valuable information and resources to students. They can use this opportunity to connect with a specific audience and establish brand loyalty. This approach can help non-profits build long-term relationships, leading to increased engagement, support, and achieving their goals. Here are two things to consider when doing a direct mail campaign: 1. Target th e right audi e nce
Families: Non-profits should focus on highlighting the impact of their work on children and families, as well as the benefits of supporting their cause. This can be achieved through storytelling, using real-life examples of families who have benefited from the organization's services. Nonprofits should make it easy for families to donate by providing multiple options and clear instructions on contributing. Schools/Universities: Highlight how donations will benefit the school and its programs directly. Non-profits can also consider offering incentives for schools to participate in their campaign, such as a grants or other forms of financial support. Non-profits should ensure that their mailings are visually appealing and easy to understand, as educators and students are often inundated with mail and may quickly discard anything that looks unimportant or too complex. 2. Craft a strong call to action
As a non-profit organization, it is crucial to have a strong call to action that motivates your target audience to be part of the change. Instead of a generic "subscribe" button, incorporating action-oriented language can make a significant difference in inspiring people to take action. Use powerful verbs that urge your audience to join your mission! Phrases like "join the fight," "volunteer with us," or "talk to us" can be incredibly compelling and inspire people to get involved.

Linking a QR code to a donate page or an informational section can increase engagement and make it easier for people to act. By incorporating these elements, you can create a cohesive and effective call to action that drives engagement and helps you achieve your fundraising goals.
