Can’t make it to the library? No problem! The Kenton County Public Library offers an extensive range of online resources for job seekers at kentonlibrary.org. Anyone living in Kentucky or Greater Cincinnati is eligible for a free library card that can be used to access career and job services resources. If you live outside the library’s service area, you can apply for a library card and pay a one-time fee of $50 for access to the same programs and resources. The library card is a valuable tool, especially if you are interested in relocating to our area.
Top 3 Library Tips for Job Seekers 1. For professionals in a transitional career phase, join the Northern Kentucky Accountability Group (NKYAG). This flagship Career and Job Services program meets every Wednesday morning at the Erlanger branch and provides a sense of belonging to job seekers through community, networking, featured speakers and sharing practical job search tips. You can also join virtually. 2. Schedule an appointment with a Career Navigator. They can help you explore your skills and interests, improve your resume and prepare for an interview. They’ll also personalize your experience with resource and class suggestions tailored to your specific needs. 3. Review the Kentucky Unemployment Work Search requirements. Information is available online at ky.gov or the library’s Career and Job Services website.
