OGV Energy are delighted to welcome your organisation to the “OGV Community”, our new membership service for the Energy sector, that helps its members to attain the brand exposure and networking opportunities they need to thrive and survive, for minimal cost and maximum benefits.

Our focus has always been to support the global supply chain within the Energy sector and with this in mind, we have launched the “OGV Community” concept. Our subscription seeks to offer its members multiple benefits in terms of brand exposure, networking and business development opportunities, market insights and promotion of company job vacancies directly to the energy marketplace.

Our current digital footprint is at an all-time high and we would love to share these benefits with you, the Energy supply chain, so read on to find out how to take maximum advantage of your membership and our platforms...

Registration and billing plan

1 - On the OGV Energy homepage, navigate to “REGISTER” and click on the link. (Located at the top right of the page on the header menu)

2 - To sign-up to the OGV Community fill in the information in the right column and click “REGISTER” or alternatively click “Continue with Linkedin”

3 - Once signed in you will be redirected to the a new page (MY PROFILE). From here you will be able to access and edit your profile information and set-up your billing plan, and more importantly, access and manage all the services that the OGV Community provide.

*You will note that there are two sections at the top of the page, a -FREE- section and an -UPGRADEsection. To start using all the OGV Community services you must update your profile information and set up a billing plan.

4 - Complete the form below to update your profile. You can also update this information in the future by clicking on “Account info”

5 - Next, click on Billing & Plan and fill in the information. Click on “START SUBSCRIPTION” to activate your OGV Community account.

Build your own company directory page on the OGV Website

1 - Login to your account. Use the account details you registered with or continue with the Linkedin login option.

2 - Click on “ EDIT PROFILE

4 - Fill-in the form below to complete the first section on your company page and click “UPDATE” to save the changes. * Note that there are various sections at the top of the page that you will have to complete or update separately (Details - Addresses - Contacts - Expertise - Gallery - Admins)

5 - Once you have filled-in the information for all the different sections and are happy for your company page to go live, click on “MARK AS ACTIVE”. You can always come back at any time and update your company details through the profile panel.

Search for other company’s details on the directory

1 - Login to your account and navigate to the “COMMUNITY” page. As an OGV Community member, you can view all the company details on the directory. Only basic information can be viewed by free members.

2 - Use the search box on the top left to find a specific company or just use the filters below to find companies by location, product or sector. You can also simply browse and discover new companies!

Note, you can visit a company’s social media pages using the icons highlighted in orange

* Only a certain amount of companies will display per page but you can view more by using the page navigator at the bottom list.

3 - Once you have found the desired company profile, click on the logo or name to open the page.

4 - Once you have accessed the company page, you will be able to view the company information, video, news, gallery, social media platforms and more important, view contacts and arrange video or phone calls.

Arrange and schedule video calls for business development / networking

1 - Login to your account and navigate to the “COMMUNITY” page.

2 - Type in the name or keyword for the company you wish to contact by using the top left search bar and click “SEARCH”. You can also use the filters below for an advanced search.

3 - Once you have found the desired company profile, click on the logo or name to open the page.

4 - In the company profile page, scroll down and locate the contact you wish to speak to (listed on the left side column)

5 - Click on either “REQUEST A VIDEO CALL” or on “REQUEST A PHONE CALL”. A calender box will open up where you can select the date and set a time and duration. Then click on “SEND REQUEST” and the person you wish to contact will be notified.

Promote your company news

1 - Login to your account. Use the account details you registered with or continue with the Linkedin login option.

2 - Click on “Submit news/content” on the bottom left side panel. This will open a new email from your email provider. From here you can insert your text and attach images to be sent and submitted. Please indicate the date for these to be posted. We will review the content and publish accordingly.

3 - Once your submission has been reviewed and approved it will be published on the OGV Energy website and shared across our social media platforms and newsletter. All the content summited will also be listed under “News” in your company profile page, making it easy for other companies to find all your latest updates in one place.

Advertise job vacancies on the OGV Energy jobs board

1 - Login to your account. Use the account details you registered with or continue with the Linkedin login option.

2 - Once you are in your profile, Click on “RECRUITMENT” to setup your company details and logo.

2 - In Account info, fill in your details and click “UPDATE PROFILE”. Also include your company logo by accessing the “Logo” tab. This information will be displayed as part of the job description to give candidates an overview of the company they are applying to.

3 - Use the recruiter control panel on the left to view your posted job offers (Jobs), add multiple recruiters (Add recruiter) view the access token code for integration on other job posting platforms (Access code) and more importantly, for adding new job listings (Post a job)

4 - To add a new job, select “Post a job” from the recruiter control panel. You should now see the form below. Complete the form and click on “POST YOUR JOB”. Once the job is posted, you can view, update or delete it. Click on “Jobs” on the recruiter control panel and select the option desired.

* To access the job tokens click on “Access token”, a pop-up message will notify you your code has been created. Click on “Access token” a second time, you will now be able to see your code which you can copy and paste into other recruitment platforms.

Access regular live events online

Every month, OGV Energy hosts an online event which is free to attend and is open to the general public. These events aim to provide an update around the topic of the month following our publication calendar. It’s a great opportunity to join the discussion, discover unique and exclusive insights and talk direclty with the experts through the networking section that occurs after each session.

Every event is recorded and shared to provide the same valuable information to the energy sector audience who wasn’t lucky enought to attend on the day.

1 - Click on the “Events” button on the main header menu on the OGV Energy website. You will then see a list of all the upcoming OGV events on the left column. The theme for each event follows the magazine topic for each month.

2 - Click on the event you are interested in to access more information.

3 - Click on “SIGN UP HERE”, this will take you to the Linkedin platform where you can proceed to signup to attend the online event.

4 - You will be re-directed to the Linkedin website where the event is hosted. Follow the instructions and register for the event. You should receive an email confirmation once you have been successful.

Become part of the event

As a speaker

As a member of the OGV Community you can participate as a panel speaker to discuss the topic for the event and promote your company. This is an excellent opportunity to get yourself in front of the right people and get your voice heard.

* A limited number of speakers are assigned to each event, so contact us at events@ogvenergy.co.uk with at least one month’s notice to secure your spot. Priority will be given to paid contributors of the OGV Energy magazine.

As a sponsor

You can also choose to sponsor the OGV Community event and ensure your company branding is included in all promotions, which include:

• The event page on the OGV Website.

• The event page on the network platform.

• All social media postings: (announcements of: chair - panelists - sponsor - event association - event summary - event countdown - and more)

• Event review video or podcast after the event.

• Newsletter event announcements.

OGV Energy Magazine calendar

Every month our publication brings you a different theme focus related to the energy sector. This calendar can help you prepare and plan your marketing strategy depending on what theme best fits your message. Our OGV Community members will receive design suppor t for any adverts they wish to publish and will also receive special discounts on any marketing packages they wish to arrange.
