I would like to start off by welcoming everyone to our 8th annual bull sale and by sending a big congrats to Sheldon and Ryann Kwiatkowski for getting hitched on August 16, 2025
What an outstanding time to be in the cow/calf business. It’s nice to finally be properly rewarded for the hard work and long hours we all put in. The future of the beef industry has never looked better then it has in the last couple years.
On offer this year is a great set of uniform bulls, consisting of over 30 yearlings and 3 two year olds. We are confident that there is a bull in this group that can fill anyone’s needs. If you are in need of some assistance with choosing your next herd sire, feel free to reach out to anyone of us, we all have the time and love to chat cattle.
Bulls will be at the sale location the morning of the sale for viewing. They can also be viewed on the farm anytime before the sale. I’m never to busy to show off the bull pen to anyone wanting to see it. DLMS will also be on location sale day to assist anyone who can’t make it to the sale, with online bidding.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on March 8th, 2026 at noon for lunch and refreshments with the sale following at 1pm.
Sincerely, Ryan Kwiatkowski

Here is one of the first sons being sold off our walking herd sire Kahula. We purchased Kahula from City View Simmentals, out of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, to use on our heifers in 2023. With his 3rd calf crop out of heifers on the ground and with over 90% of his calves being born unassisted, I can say he’s done a great job for us. Memphis is an eye catching, great haired, stout built bull that packs more power than his sire but would be a perfect fit to use on any set of cows.
Homo polled- Homo black

-- Polled

Mystro is another Kahula son, however he doesn’t pack as much power as lot 17. Mystro is smooth built in his design and with his calving ease and birthweight EPD’s being in the top 10% of the breed, it makes him a great candidate for larger heifers or second calvers. His dam has done a great job for us, raising this guy on her first try and then an exceptional heifer calf which we retained the following year. I believe the majority of Mystro’s daughters will also be worthy of the replacement heifer pen.
Homo polled- Hetro black
A great haired, well balanced individual that travels exceptionally well. His young dam is quickly earning the reputation to become one of our top females. Nuke is her 3rd calf, all 3 were bull calves and all 3 were at the top end of the bull pen. Not a bad start to her career. Being a Mind Game son, Nuke also isn’t lacking on the performance side. Here is a great combination of growth and maternal attributes. Homo polled- Hetro black

This bull is the maternal brother to last years lot 20, who I ranked as my top black bull last year. A cow that can do that 2 years in a row should speak for herself. However Nuance was sired by Crossroads Connected which gives him a little extra length of spine, a big hip and the added bonus of the blaze face. Connected adds extra growth while still keeping a manageable birthweight, he’s been my go to black AI sire for 5 years and when you see Nuance you will understand why.

A bit of twist in pedigree for this guy. Having bought a new black herd sire that spring and him coming up with a seminal infection just before tun out, I was left short handed on bull power. After a short conversation with the folks from Shayson Simmentals I learned that their Handyman bull was sitting idle and they would let me use him. Well that was a no brainer for me cause for the last number of years they have put some of the best black bulls in our sale and they were all sired by Handyman. No regrets. Here’s a typical Handyman son, smooth fronted, extra length, and well muscled. They come out easy and grow like crazy. Here’s a bull that shouldn’t be overlooked sale day.

Performance cow bull here. Sired by one of our walking herd sires, MRL Declaration, which has given him extra rib, big hip and the ability to grow. End of February born calf that weighed just shy of 800 pounds in September and is currently over 1200 pounds. His dam is a young cow with a picture perfect udder and a great foot. A cow I absolutely love and Declaration was bought for his “mother making ability” so I’d love the see the daughters out of Nightfall Homo polled- Hetro black

Another Declaration son that is very similar to lot 23 but this time he was born in mid March. Averaging over 3.5 pounds a day gain from birth till now. Nixon is in the top 20% of both yearling and weaning weight EPD’s. Here’s a bull that reminds me of his sire, which is 6 years old and still has a lot of life left in him. Performance, females and longevity, where do I sign up.

Here is another Crossroads Connected son but this time he comes to you extremely dark red hided. Newt is wide topped and big hipped like most of the Connected sons. He’s is also really smooth shouldered and neat headed which will help with calving ease, just like his EPD’s suggest. His dam is a big barrelled great uddered young cow that we think really highly of and that will be moving into our embryo donor program in the near future. There is no doubt this young herd sire with catch a lot of eyes on sale day Homo polled- Non diluter

569N is 1 of the 2 embryo bulls we have to offer this year. Making the decision to flush his dam was a no brainer. She is 12 years old, still has a perfect udder and feet and raises us a top end calf every year. Making the decision to flush her to Red Whiskey was to try replicate females of an outstanding cow we have, that is a result of a Red Whiskey and a 265B mating. Nomad is extremely well balanced with a great coat of hair and was second heaviest at weaning. He offers you all the performance you need and will sire outstanding females. Homo polled- Non diluter
A low birthweight Connected son, and out of a 11 year old dam that consistently keeps the birthweight down in her offspring. Nobel is medium framed, with a great foot and a docile demeanour. Nightcap would be retained in a heart beat if wasn’t related to so many of our females. Have a good look here!

This eye appealing Connected son, comes from one of our young cows that is nailing it, putting a son in the sale the last 3 years in a row. Nova is long spined, free moving and well quartered. Nub is a stout, loose hided, supper soggy stud! His dam is one of our few full blood cows which is hard to fault in any way. Sired by the popular Mind Game bull gives Nub a little extra performance. Weaning weight and yearling weight Epd’s in the top 30% and 25% perspectively, adjusted yearling weight of 1405 and an acceptable birthweight of 100 pounds is a testament to his potential. If performance is what you’re after, you found it here. A mid February born bull that weaned off at 924 mid September which is 3.82 pounds a day gain. Then he pushed down on the scale at 1455 in the end of January, 4.15 pounds a day gain. Being born out of a 1700 pound dam, makes his 111 pound more then acceptable. Nash has extra length with a wide top, great muscle and all set on top of a big hoof. I feel there is a lot to be admired here.

Sired by one of our walking herd sires, Decloration, who we purchased for his performance and mother making abilities, and we are sure not disappointed with the results. Dam is a dark red medium framed cow, with a great udder and disposition.
Nino has a heavy dark red hair coat, big hind quarter, depth of rib and is clean fronted. 10 out of 13 of his EPD’s are above average with milk being in the top 30%.

Check out the milk EPD on this Decloration son, top 20% in the breed! Dam is a medium framed, solid red, polled, full blood cow, that is personally one of my favourites on the farm. Naja is smaller framed but still holds the great hair, smooth build and length that all the Decloration sons possess. I think siring lighter framed, good milking, hard working, daughters will be one of his top assets.

Very attractive blaze face bull here that goes back to our 43A cow family. 43A was a big full blood cow that was in production until this year, which gives her over 10 offspring. True testament to longevity there! I might start sounding like a broken record, but the cross between Decloration and my full blood cows results in some very productive females. Narrator is in the top 25% of the breed for milk and with that type of longevity built into his pedigree, it should make his females very profitable. Hetro polled- Non diluter

Here’s anther product of the Decloration x Fullblood recipe. This soggy made individual has tremendous milk EPD’s, like his brothers but he comes to you with a meager 85 pound birthweight.
