Meet Our New Executive Chef We’re excited to welcome Chef Melissa Blanco to The Glen Club! With a fresh perspective and passion for memorable dining, Chef Melissa is ready to make her mark throughout the Club.
Behind The Apron “I’m a passionate culinary professional with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead diverse culinary teams, develop menus, build strong kitchen systems, and create memorable dining experiences for guests. I’m driven by creativity, quality, and the belief that great food starts with great teamwork. I’m always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas to the table. Outside of the kitchen, I enjoy discovering new restaurants, exploring different cuisines, and spending time/cooking with family.”
Let’s Get to Know Chef Blanco! If you could cook dinner for anyone, who would it be? “The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.” What’s one dish that instantly takes you back to childhood? “Soups. My mom made the best chicken soup and beef soup growing up.” What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you? “I played sports my entire life. Basketball, volleyball, and softball.” What are you most excited to bring to The Glen Club? “I’m most excited to bring the club my passion for creating great food and memorable experiences for our members and their guests. I’m looking forward to bringing fresh ideas, seasonal ingredients, and a strong focus on quality and consistency to the culinary program. Just as importantly, I’m excited to build a great team culture where our chefs can learn, grow, and take pride in what they create. I’m looking forward to getting to know our members, learning what they love, and helping make every dining experience feel special.”
