Update from Grady Hauswirth- Assistant Golf Professional I want to thank everyone who came out this summer and participated in the launch of the Nemadji Golf Academy! Highlighted by our junior golf program, we had 117 participants take part in our golf clinics this summer. I couldn’t be happier with the turnout. Thank you for making Nemadji the place to be and trusting us to keep your children safe. I want to give a special thank you to our head coaches this summer: Bryan Blazejak, Keith Berg, Tina Rodgers, Ed Willie, and Mike Raunio. They did a fantastic job leading our stations. Without their help and dedication, none of this would have been possible. In addition to our junior golf clinics, we also hosted our junior league, giving young golfers the opportunity to play on our championship courses as well as our Par 3 Compass Course. A huge thank you to Bryan Blazejak and all the parents who brought their kids out to Nemadji to play golf with us this summer! The Nemadji Golf Academy also offered ladies’ happy hour clinics, driving and short-game clinics, and beginner series. These varied instructional opportunities introduced many new golfers to Nemadji, and it was great to see so many people getting involved in the game. Thank you to everyone who made this summer special and helped make Nemadji the place to be! Here are a few things to look forward to this winter: Club Fitting Days Nemadji will be hosting three club fitting days this winter: TaylorMade: Saturday, January 23, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Srixon: Saturday, March 6, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Callaway: Date and time to be determined. Winter Golf Instruction I’ll be teaching this winter! Lessons will be available Monday through Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, with Saturdays available as scheduling permits. We’ll also be hosting a Par 3 contest in March, so keep an eye out for more details and other upcoming promotions! I look forward to seeing everyone this winter. Thanks again for a great summer!

A Note from the Greens View Grille Greens View Grille – Fall Newsletter As the golf season winds down and winter approaches, we are excited to keep things going at the Greens View Grille! We have several updates and specials planned to make the Grille a great place to gather throughout the colder months. We recently purchased a new 86-inch TV for our dining room, making it an even better spot to catch your favorite sporting events. Our Sunday Fun Day Special is also underway, featuring a Sammy's Pizza and a pitcher of any tap beer for just $18! Our popular All-You-Can-Eat Friday Fish Fry continues each week, along with special senior breakfast offerings. Looking ahead, we are planning additional winter menu items and exciting events, including beer tastings featuring local breweries. We will also continue offering DoorDash throughout the winter, making it easy to enjoy your favorite Greens View Grille meals from the comfort of home. Looking for the perfect place to host your holiday party? Let us take care of the details! The Greens View Grille offers a beautiful, welcoming space for gatherings of up to 80 guests, with catering options to fit your needs. We are incredibly honored to announce that Nemadji Golf Course has been voted the Duluth News Tribune's Best of the Best Golf Course for the 7th consecutive year! Pictured above is our bartender, Stacey, and Chef Brian proudly displaying this year's award. This recognition wouldn't be possible without our amazing staff and the continued support of our golfers and community. Thank you for making Nemadji your favorite place to golf year after year!

Blatnik Bridge Project Looking Ahead to 2027: Blatnik Bridge Closure As we prepare for the 2027 golf season, the upcoming replacement of the Blatnik Bridge will bring significant changes to travel throughout the Twin Ports. With the bridge expected to close in March 2027, golfers traveling from Duluth and surrounding communities will primarily utilize the Bong Bridge, potentially resulting in longer travel times and increased congestion. At Nemadji Golf Course, we understand the challenges this may create for our daily-fee golfers, season passholders, league participants, and tournament guests. Our priority will be maintaining clear communication, providing timely updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the construction process. With the bridge closure coinciding with our planned irrigation improvements, 2027 will require additional planning and flexibility. Our team will work diligently to maximize course availability, accommodate our various customer groups, and keep everyone informed of any changes that may impact their visit. Despite these challenges, we remain excited about the future of Nemadji. We appreciate the continued loyalty and support of our customers and are committed to making every visit worth the drive!

Closing Thoughts As another golf season comes to a close, I want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our golfers, season passholders, league participants, and guests for making 2026 another wonderful year at Nemadji Golf Course. Your continued support is what makes Nemadji such a special place, and we truly appreciate everyone who spent time with us this season. To put just how busy this season was into perspective, here are a couple of fun facts! We dispensed over 850,000 golf balls on our driving range and sold more than 40,000 golf balls out of the Golf Shop this year! That's a lot of swings, and probably a few golf balls that didn't make it out of the woods! While the outdoor golf season may be winding down, don't forget that Nemadji is open year-round! Our TrackMan simulators and Greens View Grille will be ready to welcome you throughout the winter months. Whether you're looking to keep your golf game sharp, enjoy a great meal, or get together with friends, there's always something happening at Nemadji. If you're interested in hosting a holiday party, corporate gathering, or special event this winter, please don't hesitate to reach out! Looking ahead, The team is working tirelessly to prepare for the best possible 2027 season. With the upcoming Blatnik Bridge closure and our irrigation project, we know there will be challenges to navigate. However, our commitment remains the same: ensuring that every golfer, league, outing, and customer group continues to have a place at Nemadji in 2027. We are focused on thoughtful planning, clear communication, and making the experience as enjoyable as possible for everyone. Thank you again for an incredible year.
