A Note from the Greens View Grille As we wrap up another busy August at the Greens View Grille, we want to thank everyone who has stopped in for a meal, a drink, or a quick bite before or after their round. It’s been a great summer, and we appreciate everyone who continues to support the Grille throughout the golf season. As we move past Labor Day, our food and beverage operation will begin to look a little different. Many of our seasonal staff members are heading back to school, which means our staffing and food service may be a little less consistent throughout the fall. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works hard to provide the best service possible during this transition. The good news is that fall is right around the corner! Cooler temperatures, changing leaves, and fall golf are some of the best parts of the season at Nemadji. And with fall comes another favorite—the return of our Friday Fish Fry! Keep an eye on our social media and upcoming communications for the official return date and more details. Thank you for another great summer at the Greens View Grille. We look forward to seeing you around the clubhouse and enjoying the fall season with you! My door is always open for any and all suggestions!

Chef Brian’s Choice Greens View Grille This section is deticated to our Head Chef, Brian! This month he chose the Ace Breakfast Sandwich. One of our many great options to induldge in before your round, also a great idea if you’re running behind and need something for on the course!

Highlighted NEW Specials Greens View Grille We wanted to start running a weekday promotion for the end of the winter for us to be your next stop for a weekday meal. We already have the fish fry and breakfast specials, but these will be sure to satisfy during the week. They will be available all summer long!!
Soup of the Month (again) Chicken Wild Rice We have also added a Soup of the Month going forward. This month is Chicken Wild Rice. We use this based on the previous months most sold soup, and its always chicken wild rice. We may have to change this format coming up or it will always be this... either way, we love that everyone enjoys it!

A word from our Men’s and Women’s Club Presidents Barb Hoag- Women’s Club President

Troy Clark- Mens Club President Leagues are in the final weeks coming up here and we are excited to see how everything plays out! We have had another great year and are already in the planning for next year! The Men’s Club Championship Concluded Last Friday and I want to thank each and every person that participated. We had 90 people play whic is up from 76 players last year. Next year we are hoping to fill all 100 spots available for the tournament. With the Irrigation prodject that is coming up next year, we are working with Nemadji to figure out the dynamics of how leagues will work and will have all information that is available on the Men’s Club website and Facebook page as soon as we can. Keep an eye out this winter for any changes that may be happening.

Blatnik Bridge Project We know a ton of golfers make their way to Nemadji from Duluth and we want to keep you updated on the Blatnik Bridge Project scheduled to start in 2026. While we don’t foresee any interruption to the 2026 golf season, we will make sure to keep you updated with all the relevant information and alternate routes to the golf course
Construction for the aging bridge will take approximately four to five years, with Superior Mayor Jim Paine mentioning complete bridge closure by mid-2027. Mayor Jim Paine says the city is going to make sure they’re not overburdening their citizens in any way unless absolutely necessary to get the project done on time and on budget.
Closing Thoughts
JIt’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up August and heading into the final stretch of another golf season at Nemadji. The summer always seems to fly by, and this year has been no exception. I want to thank everyone who has spent time with us this season—whether you’ve played a few rounds, participated in one of our tournaments or events, stopped into the Greens View Grille, or simply followed along with everything happening at Nemadji. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep a 36-hole facility moving throughout the summer, and the support we continue to receive from our golfers and community makes all of that work worthwhile. While the busiest part of the season may be behind us, there is still plenty of golf left to enjoy. Fall golf at Nemadji is one of the best times of the year, and we’re looking forward to some cooler temperatures, great course conditions, and hopefully plenty of beautiful days ahead.
