Dear Members,
Spring has arrived, and just like the flowers beginning to bloom, so too is the excitement for the 2026 season at McHenry Golf Club.
As we continue to advance ongoing projects and elevate the overall club experience, we are especially excited to announce the official approval and opening of Club 22, the MGC restaurant In addition, we are completing a full transition to new club-wide systems, including the Whoosh platform for tee times and event registration, along with Lightspeed for point-of-sale and accounting The integration of these systems provides a more modern, seamless, and efficient experience for both our members and daily operations
Below are a few key updates and highlights as we look ahead to the season:
Golf Events
Highlighted by the four MGC Majors, the 2026 golf calendar begins with the Opening Day Scramble and Cepulis Match Play events in early May. Registration is currently open for these events, as well as the MGC Invitational (Member-Guest). We encourage you to secure your spot through Whoosh or by contacting the Golf Shop directly. Please continue to stay connected through Whoosh for event details and registration updates.

Food & Beverage Updates
Club 22 is now officially open Featuring an all-day menu available Tuesday through Sunday, along with Friday night dinner service, Executive Chef John Argentari has developed an exceptional and evolving menu Members can expect a thoughtful blend of traditional club favorites, McHenry Golf Club classics, and innovative new dishes designed to create a memorable dining experience Be sure to mark your calendars for upcoming social events, including our Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10
As the season gets underway and the club comes to life, we look forward to seeing you on the golf course, taking advantage of special member pricing in the Golf Shop, and enjoying everything Club 22 has to offer.

Hello from the kitchen!
With the opening of Club 22, everyone is incredibly excited to begin serving our new menu. We’re launching with an All-Day offering featuring shareable appetizers, elevated handhelds, fresh salads, house-made soups, thoughtfully prepared entrées, and indulgent desserts.
The culinary team and I look forward to continuously evolving the menu, so we welcome your suggestions and feedback along the way.
Don’t miss the brown butter cake with caramel gelato—it’s quickly becoming a favorite. (See photo below.)

Dear Members, Golf season has arrived! The Golf Shop is stocked with new arrivals including Stitch, RedVanly, Maui Jim, and Tail! Stop in and get ready for the great season ahead of us and take advantage of our SPECIAL MEMBER PRICING!
Coming soon is a new collection of Ladies Apparel from Straight Down and Adidas, along with a collection of Men’s FootJoy shirts. There will be more items arriving throughout the season, be sure to check it out! As always, your support and feedback is much appreciated.

Dear Members,
With the arrival of spring, we are excited for the start of another great golf season and are eager to announce that the golf course is officially open for play. Our team has been hard at work preparing the course following the winter months monitoring turf health, completing necessary maintenance, golf course projects and ensuring that playing conditions meet the standards you expect and deserve. As temperatures begin to rise; the course will continue to green up and firm up over the coming weeks, depending on the rain Early-season conditions can be variable, so, we appreciate your patience There was plethora of tree trunks, tree stumps, branches, sticks and stump grindings on the ground from the extensive tree removal. The last of them are being picked up. We have new sod around the golf course and will continue to add more on the new green expansions, tees, collars, stump holes, cart path extensions as well as added drainage areas.
To help protect the course, we kindly ask all members to:
-Observe cart path restrictions and signage
-Repair ball marks and divots
-Avoid wet or standing water areas when possible
These small efforts go a long way in maintaining excellent playing conditions for everyone. Our maintenance schedule will remain active throughout the spring, including aeration, topdressing, and mowing practices designed to promote healthy turf growth We will keep you informed of any temporary disruptions to play. We are looking forward to seeing you back on the course and hope you enjoy a fantastic season of golf.
