Dear Members,

With a warm albeit wet April behind us, the start to the 2026 season has been strong and exciting With course conditions in great shape and Club 22 now open for daily service, the season is off to a magnificent start

While the golf course is playing exceptionally well, the Agronomy Team continues to focus on cleanup efforts and projects that will further elevate the aesthetics of the course and grounds. You will also notice the Pond Beautification Project taking place on Hole #9, which is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

We are now a full month into utilizing our new systems, Whoosh and Lightspeed, and our team continues to gather valuable feedback from both members and staff. As we navigate these systems and continue refining how they best serve the membership and operations of MGC, we appreciate your continued patience and support.

Below are a few key updates and highlights as we look ahead to the summer months:

Golf Events

The season officially kicked off with our Opening Day Scramble on May 3rd Despite breezy and chilly conditions, the field of 68 players toughed it out and enjoyed a fantastic day Our first outing of the season also took place on May 15th with the 39th Annual Friends & Fathers Event Warm temperatures and breezy conditions made for a wonderful day, with over 100 players participating

There are plenty of exciting events still ahead, with registration opening 3–6 weeks in advance through Whoosh Be sure to register early and contact the Professional Staff with any questions

Food & Beverage Updates

With Club 22 officially open, we hope you have been enjoying the All-Day Menu along with Friday Night Dinner Service The Culinary and Service Teams have been hard at work introducing new menu selections while continuing to enhance the dining experience each and every day.

Mother’s Day Brunch was a tremendous success, with more than 200 members and guests enjoying the experience at Club 22 while celebrating all mothers. Be on the lookout for Saturday Prime Rib Dinner Service coming soon, along with holiday menu specials and additional offerings throughout the season.

Memorial Day weekend is upon us, and we invite you to join us as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the line of duty protecting and defending our freedom. We thank you.

Play well, dine well, and enjoy

Warm regards,

Rick Sutton, PGA

Dear Members,

As we move into the golf season, this year the weather has taken its time to warm up. Soon the warm summer weather will be here. I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your continued support, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the many projects completed around the club this year Our team has been working hard to finish several important improvements designed to enhance both the appearance and playability of our facilities. In addition to the projects, our team has the golf course to maintain. Over the past month, we’ve focused on completing final details on course and grounds projects, including landscape enhancements, drainage improvements, irrigation adjustments, and ongoing turf recovery areas. These efforts are all part of our long-term commitment to providing the best possible experience for our members and guests

We’ve also taken advantage of favorable weather windows to complete seasonal maintenance projects that often go unnoticed but play a critical role in course conditions and overall property health. From bunker edging and tree work to equipment maintenance and turf preparation heading into the season, our staff has remained dedicated to keeping everything moving forward efficiently. I want to personally recognize the hard work of the maintenance team Their dedication, flexibility, and attention to detail continue to make a tremendous difference every day Many of these projects require long hours and careful coordination, and I’m proud of what our team has accomplished together.

As we finish up the remaining items on our project list, our focus will shift toward protecting the progress we’ve made and preparing the property for the months ahead. We are excited about the improvements already visible and confident they will continue to benefit the club well into the future

Thank you again for your continued support and for being part of our club community. We look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying the facilities.

Warm regards,
