September is here, bringing a full month of golf, events, dining, and fall fun at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe! Inside this month’s newsletter, you’ll find important golf updates, upcoming tournaments, live music, social events, dining specials, and plenty of ways to enjoy both clubs. With a busy month ahead, we hope you’ll join us on the course, stop by the clubhouse, and take advantage of everything happening this September!
Champions Pointe & Covered Bridge Teams A Note from Ryan Dougherty – Your General Manager As we head into September, we’re looking forward to fall golf at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe. We may have to get through a little more summer heat first, but cooler temperatures and some of the best golf of the year are right around the corner. September is also one of our busiest months for golf outings at both courses, so you’ll see plenty of activity throughout the month. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we welcome these groups while continuing to accommodate our passholders and daily-fee golfers. Tuesday, September 8th is Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, and we want to recognize our superintendents and maintenance teams at both courses. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes every day to keep Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe looking and playing their best. If you see them out on the course, be sure to give them a thank you! We also ask for everyone’s help in taking care of the courses. Please remember to repair ball marks on the greens and fill or replace your divots during your round. A little extra effort from everyone goes a long way. Looking ahead, greens aeration is scheduled at both courses: Covered Bridge: Tuesday, October 6th – Course Closed Wednesday, October 7th – Nine Holes Open Champions Pointe: Monday, October 26th – Course Closed Tuesday, October 27th – Nine Holes Open We appreciate your continued support of Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe and look forward to seeing you on the course this September!

Ryder Cup Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe The 2026 Ryder Cup is set for October 24th & 25th! Upcoming Tournaments Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe University of Indianapolis Women’s Tournament The University of Indianapolis Women’s Golf Team is back at Champions Pointe for the second year! Come out and support the team during their home tournament, September 7th–9th. September 7th: Practice rounds beginning at 12 PM September 8th: Course closed all day September 9th: Course closed until 2 PM PGA TOUR Q-School Champions Pointe will once again host PGA TOUR Q-School this fall, October 18th–24th. More details will be shared as we get closer!

Karaoke Night Covered Bridge | Friday, 9/4 | 7:30 PM Grab the mic and join us for Karaoke Night at Covered Bridge Golf Club! North of Nashville Covered Bridge | Saturday, 9/12 | 4:30 PM Join us at Covered Bridge on Saturday, September 12th for North of Nashville Songwriter Sessions! Enjoy an intimate acoustic evening featuring Thom Shepherd & Coley McCabe and Brady Seals as they perform their music and share the stories behind the songs. These talented singer-songwriters have written and performed songs recorded by artists including Blake Shelton, Little Texas, Kenny Chesney and more.

Game Night Champions Pointe | Tuesday, 9/22 | 6PM Grab your family and friends and join us for Game Night at Champions Pointe on Tuesday, September 22nd from 6–9 PM! We’ll have card and board games, puzzles, beanbag toss and more. Game Night is free for everyone, and our full menu will be available throughout the evening.

Burgers & Brews Champions Pointe | Friday, 9/25 Spend your Friday night with us at Champions Pointe! Join us Friday, September 25th from 6–9 PM for Burgers & Brews featuring live music from Redneck Noize. Your $15 ticket includes live music and a burgers and brews tasting. Come hungry, try a few favorites and enjoy a night of live music at the clubhouse. A limited menu will also be available throughout the evening.

September Restaurant Updates Covered Bridge Make weeknights easier with our Family Carryout Meals, available each week at Covered Bridge. These meals are delicious, convenient, and perfect for sharing. Each option feeds 4–6 people. Family Carryout Meals are available Wednesday through Saturday. Call by 2 PM to place your order. The Bridge will be open from 11 AM–5 PM on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day! Our Live Music Calendar is listed below with live music taking place Thursdays from 6 PM – 8 PM.
