July is packed with everything that makes summer at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe special. A Note from Ryan Dougherty – Your General Manager
Summer is in full swing, and our courses are in great shape thanks to the hard work of our maintenance teams and the continued support of our members and guests. Whether you're joining us for a round of golf, a league, or dining at the clubhouse, we're grateful you've chosen to spend part of your summer with us.
Course Conditions
July brings warm temperatures and rapid turf growth, and our crews continue working to provide excellent playing conditions. Please remember to repair ball marks, fill divots, and rake bunkers after use. As part of our annual maintenance, Champions Pointe will complete fairway aerification on Tuesday, July 7, and Covered Bridge will follow on Wednesday, July 8 This important process helps ensure healthy turf and great conditions throughout the season
Golf Shop & Instruction
The golf shops are stocked with summer apparel, golf balls, gloves, and accessories It's also a great time to schedule a lesson with one of our golf professionals, with options available for every skill level
Food & Beverage
After your round, stop by the clubhouse and enjoy our summer menu specials. We look forward to serving you on the verandah and providing a great place to relax after a day on the course.

Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe
Registration is now open for the 2026 Member-Guest Shootout, July 16–18 This three-day event features a practice round, players party, five rounds of Four-Ball Match Play, great food, and the always-popular Horserace Shootout finale.
Open to members and their guests. Entry fee is $1,400 per team, allinclusive.

President’s Cup Match Play
Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe
Registration is now open for the 2026 President's Cup Match Play. This seasonlong Four-Ball Match Play event begins in late July and concludes with the championship match in early October.
Teams will be seeded by handicap index, with the defending champions earning the #1 seed Open to Business, Masters, Platinum, and Bridge-Pointe members Entry Fee: $50 per team (green fees not included)

PGA Junior Camp
Give your child a week of golf skill development, games, and confidence building with certified PGA professionals. Camps are designed for beginner to intermediate junior golfers and focus on fundamentals like full swing, short game, rules, and etiquette in a fun, supportive setting.

Celebrate Independence Day with us at Covered Bridge Golf Club! Join us for an evening of great food, live music, and a spectacular fireworks display Enjoy Chef's Cookout Buffet featuring burgers, BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans, mac & cheese, cookies, and adult beverages available for purchase.
Live music with Lefty will begin before the fireworks, creating the perfect atmosphere for family and friends to gather and celebrate.

Experience an unforgettable evening where the stories behind the songs take center stage. Join us on Saturday, July 25 for North of Nashville Songwriter Sessions, featuring acclaimed songwriters Morgan Myles and Chuck Cannon. Hear the inspiration behind chart-topping hits, enjoy live acoustic performances, and experience country music in an intimate listeningroom setting.
Doors open at 4:30 PM, and the show begins at 6:00 PM. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Back to School Trivia Night

Join us on Tuesday, July 28 for Back to School Trivia Night at Covered Bridge Golf Club Grab your smartest friends (or the ones who are great at guessing) and compete in a fun evening of school-themed trivia beginning at 5:30 PM. We'll have a limited menu available throughout the event, making it the perfect midweek night out.

Make weeknights easier with our Family Carryout Meals, available each week at Covered Bridge.
These meals are delicious, convenient, and perfect for sharing. Each option feeds 4–6 people. Family Carryout Meals are available Wednesday through Saturday. Call by 2 PM to place your order.
On Friday, July 3, from 12 PM to 2 PM, Kona Ice will be at Covered Bridge Stop by for a cool treat while supporting a great cause, a portion of proceeds will benefit Folds of Honor, helping provide educational scholarships to the families of America's fallen and disabled service members and first responders
