August is here, and there is still plenty of summer fun to enjoy at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe! This month is filled with exciting golf events, live music, social gatherings, delicious dining specials, and plenty of opportunities to spend time at the clubs. Inside, you'll find important golf updates, upcoming events, restaurant news, and everything you need to make the most of the month. We look forward to seeing you on the course, around the clubhouse, and at one of our many August events!
Champions Pointe & Covered Bridge Teams A Note from Ryan Dougherty – Your General Manager As we move into August, I want to thank each of you for making this summer another memorable one at Covered Bridge Golf Club and Champions Pointe Golf Club. Whether you've been playing in leagues, tournaments, enjoying the patio, or fitting in an evening round, we truly appreciate your continued support. Our teams at both clubs have worked hard to provide an outstanding experience for every guest. Their dedication to exceptional service, course conditions, and hospitality is what makes our clubs special. Course Conditions Our maintenance teams continue to do an excellent job keeping both courses in outstanding shape despite the challenges of summer weather. Please help by repairing ball marks, filling divots, and raking bunkers. These small efforts go a long way in keeping the courses enjoyable for everyone. Looking Ahead August is packed with golf as tournaments continue, leagues wrap up, and we begin looking ahead to an exciting fall season. It's also a great time to invite a friend out for a round. As we begin planning for 2027, be on the lookout for membership information, upcoming events, and exciting opportunities at both clubs. Food & Beverage Be sure to stop by the clubhouse before or after your round. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite, enjoying lunch, or relaxing with your favorite beverage after 18 holes, our Food & Beverage teams are ready to serve you. Couples Golf Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe Couples Golf is back at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe! Grab your significant other, best friend, or favorite golf partner for a fun, relaxed evening on the course. Open to all skill levels, these events are all about great golf, good company, and drinks after the round. Sign up as a foursome or let us pair you with another couple. Member-Guest Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe Congratulations to our 2026 MemberGuest Champions, Rick Fulton and Mike Lawson! After a great weekend of competition, Rick and Mike came out on top to claim this year's title. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event another success. We look forward to seeing everyone back next year!
Club Championship Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe Join us for the 2026 Club Championship, taking place Saturday, 8/22 at Champions Pointe and Sunday, 8/23 at Covered Bridge. Registration is open from July 22nd through August 19th. The entry fee is $25 plus greens fees. This event is open to Men and Ladies Master, Platinum, and Bridge Pointe Passholders with an established GHIN handicap. Register today through GolfGenius or contact the golf shop for more information.

Trivia Night Covered Bridge | Tuesday, 8/25 Think you know golf? Put your knowledge to the test at our golfthemed Trivia Night on Tuesday, August 25th! Gather your team for an evening of friendly competition featuring questions about famous golfers, major championships, golf history, rules, and more. Trivia begins at 6PM, and a limited menu will be available throughout the evening.

Karaoke Night Covered Bridge | Friday, 9/4 Grab the mic and join us for Karaoke Night at Covered Bridge Golf Club! Whether you're ready to take the stage or just want to cheer on your friends, it's guaranteed to be a fun night filled with great music, food, drinks, and plenty of laughs. Karaoke kicks off at 7:30PM on Friday, September 4th.

August Restaurant Updates Covered Bridge Make weeknights easier with our Family Carryout Meals, available each week at Covered Bridge. These meals are delicious, convenient, and perfect for sharing. Each option feeds 4–6 people. Family Carryout Meals are available Wednesday through Saturday. Call by 2 PM to place your order.
