As we head into March and daylight saving time begins, the longer evenings are a welcome sign that golf season is right around the corner at Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe. The extra daylight means more time on the course, and we’re excited for everything the new season has in store. Our teams are busy preparing the courses, welcoming back our guests, and planning a full calendar of tournaments, events, and dining experiences for the months ahead. In this issue, you’ll find updates from the golf shop, upcoming social events, junior programs, and seasonal restaurant offerings. Whether you’re gearing up for your first round of the year or simply stopping by the clubhouse, we’re glad you’re here and look forward to another great season together.

A Note from Ryan Dougherty – Your General Manager

Dear Members and Guests,

As we move into March here in Southern Indiana, we’re starting to see the first signs of spring and the return of golf season. While the weather can still be unpredictable this time of year, longer days and warmer temperatures have our team preparing for a busy season ahead.

Our grounds crew has been hard at work with important late-winter and early-spring agronomic practices to set the course up for success. From monitoring turf as it comes out of dormancy to tree work, bunker maintenance, and early mowing schedules, these efforts are critical to delivering the course conditions you expect We appreciate your patience with any temporary cart path restrictions as we protect the turf during this transition period

Inside the Golf Shop, spring merchandise is beginning to arrive, including new apparel, footwear, and equipment Our staff is happy to assist with fittings and getting you ready for the season ahead

Our food and beverage team is also preparing for increased traffic as the weather improves, with expanded hours and refreshed menu offerings. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or gathering with friends after your round, we look forward to welcoming you.

We’re also gearing up for a busy season of outings, weddings, and special events. If you’re planning an event later this year, now is a great time to connect with our team.

Passholder Appreciation

Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe | Thursday, 3/19

This special evening is our way of saying thank you to our passholders for being part of the Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe community.

Enjoy live music, light bites, and access to the golf simulator, and a fitting day experience. A cash bar will also be available throughout the evening.

Drive, Chip & Putt

Covered Bridge | Wednesday, 6/3

Covered Bridge Golf Club is proud to host a Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier, a free junior golf competition for boys and girls ages 7–15 this summer. Young golfers will test their skills in driving, chipping, and putting for a chance to advance toward the National Finals held at Augusta National Golf Club.

PGA Junior Camp

Give your child a week of golf skill development, games, and confidence building with certified PGA professionals. Camps are designed for beginner to intermediate junior golfers and focus on fundamentals like full swing, short game, rules, and etiquette in a fun, supportive setting.

Trivia Night

Champions Pointe | Saturday, 3/21

Put your knowledge to the test at Trivia Night at Champions Pointe on Saturday, March 21st from 6–8 PM. Gather your friends, form a team, and enjoy a fun evening of friendly competition, great food, and drinks

Easter Egg Hunt

Covered Bridge | Saturday, 4/4

Join us at Covered Bridge Golf Club for our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th at 10 AM. Kids can enjoy a fun morning hunting eggs, plus donuts and juice are included with admission. Don’t forget to bring your basket.

Celebrate Easter at Covered Bridge Golf Club with our Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 5th. Enjoy a delicious buffet featuring breakfast favorites, carving stations, desserts, and more with two seating times available: 10–11:30 AM or 12:30–2 PM.

Bayou on the Patio

Join us at Covered Bridge Golf Club for Bayou on the Patio on Friday, April 17th from 6–9 PM. This lively evening will feature live music from The Remainders along with a classic seafood boil, great drinks, and a fun night out on the patio.

Covered Bridge

Make weeknights easier with our Family Carryout Meals, available every week at Covered Bridge. These meals are delicious, convenient, and perfect for sharing, with each option feeding 4–6 people. Family Carryout Meals are available Wednesday through Saturday, just call by 2 PM to place your order.
