Our Story
Broomsedge Golf Club invites you to take a fresh look at private golf. Members gather frequently from around the Carolinas and the country enjoy camaraderie and competition on our thrilling Kyle Franz/Mike Kopro design. Here, in the spirit of the Lido (WI) and its predecessors in the Brit Isles, we also welcome guest visits from those who love the game. It is o way of giving back-and making new introductions.
Routed over, through, and around dramatic chasms, ridgelines, valleys plateaus and hummocks, Broomsedge is a modern expression of golf's cr country origins.
Set-up elasticity-a feature lost in many new designs-defines the charac of Broomsedge. Angles, distances, and strategies change from round t round. There is no "right" way to play the course, because the course nev shows the same look twice.

A New Chapter
Broomsedge opened in 2024 to immediate acclaim from members and the media.
New CEO and Managing Partner Baker Thompson brings a bold vision for the club's next phase. With input from Senior Advisor Michael Keiser, Jr. and his team of development and operations professionals, Baker will lead construction of overnight accommodations, a clubhouse and restaurant, and member facilities.
And more golf is still to come.

A Welcoming Club
Broomsedge is a private club, designed for its members, with a robust schedule of social and competitive events and customs. Our sense of hospitality and camaraderie extends to welcoming guest play in the spirit of great clubs such as Muirfield, Royal Dornoch, and North Berwick.

Camaraderie & Competition
Throughout the year, a calendar of exclusive member events strengthens the club’s sense of camaraderie and tradition. Signature events include the Member-Guest, Member-Member, and Pro-Member-where members invite their professional and fellow club members-as well as Scottish Day, a 36-hole alternate shot competition with a traditional lunch at the turn.
A Good Walk, Unspoiled
Broomsedge is a walking-only course, preserving the natural character and conditioning of the land while encouraging a more intentional pace of play. Caddies are available to enhance the experience, offering guidance, local knowledge, and a deeper connection to the course.
