WhyBlueMash?

Blue Mash Golf Course, ranked among the top ten courses in the Washington area by Golf Advisor, delivers a truly unique golf experience. Designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills, the course blends links-style, parkland, wooded, and water features. With no forced carries, Blue Mash is welcoming to players of all skill levels. Our clubhouse veranda offers panoramic views of the course, creating the perfect setting for tournaments and special events.

Our team of professionals is available to help you with planning your golf tournament or special event and creating a budget, along with:

Our venue comfortably accommodates 20–200 guests.

Convenient location near several breweries, restaurants, and shopping. All alcohol must be purchased from Blue Mash Golf Course per our liquor license. Food service requires a minimum of 20 guests. Events with fewer than 20 guests will incur a service and staffing fee.

For any personalized decorations or special requirements, the client is responsible for arranging and covering the cost. Additional services can be provided with an added fee.

A signed contract and deposit are required 30 days prior to the event.

Sales tax, alcohol tax, gratuity, and a processing fee apply.

Wireless handheld microphone for announcements.

Built‑in sound system plays music throughout our clubhouse and veranda with a custom playlist or wireless connection.

Complimentary Wi-Fi; the password will be provided by Blue Mash team members during your event.

A variety of linen colors, centerpieces, tables, chairs, and catering equipment is available.

Special Events

Room rental includes the Clubhouse and/or Veranda

Standard event duration is four hours (extra time available for an additional charge)

Pricing varies for daytime and weekend events

Linen and décor included with rental

Clients will be charged a fee for outside food

Surround sound available with playlist or wireless connection

One hour available before event for setup

We have carts to accommodate a standard field of 132 golfers. For fields larger than 132 golfers, Blue Mash will rent carts, the cost of which will be charged to you on your final bill.

Arethere“restrooms”onthecourse?

In addition to the restrooms in the clubhouse for use at the turn, portable facilities are accessible from holes 2, 3, 6, 8 on the front nine and holes 12, 13, and 16 on the back nine.

For a banquet, we have 18 round tables that seat 8 guests each, for a total veranda seating capacity of 144. We have ten rectangular tables: six that are 6-foot in length; two that are 8-foot long, and 2 that are 4-feet in length. These are used for player check-in, silent auction and raffle prize display, sponsor presentation, and at the tee box as needed.

DoesBlueMashhavecoolers?

We have several coolers available for use on the veranda for non-alcoholic beverages. If coolers are needed on the course during play, the tournament must provide them.

Canwebringbeer,wineorliquor?

No. In compliance with Montgomery County liquor license requirements, all alcohol consumed on our property must be purchased through Blue Mash. This includes gift baskets, etc. We are happy to order liquor for use in gift baskets with you paying our cost. Jell-O shots, beer shots, or liquor shots may not be served anywhere on the course unless served by a member of the Blue Mash team. We can provide team members who have been certified through the State’s Alcohol Awareness Program. The per hour rate is $35 per server.

Canwetapeposters,signs,etc.onthewalls/windowsontheveranda?

We are happy to help hang signs, etc. on the veranda in a way that protects the walls and surfaces.

Canwesetuptentsand/ortablesontheteeboxes?

In order to maintain high quality playing surfaces on the golf course, all tents, tables, etc. may be placed next to, and for most holes, on the tee boxes, outside the field of play.

We ask that all signs and equipment be dropped off 24 hours in advance of the outing. Please mark each sign as to the hole or location it gets placed. We will take it to each hole in advance of the start of the event, and volunteers can then go out to set-up tents and arrange tables and chairs within the designated area.

Pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns served as a buffet.

Bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, and hash browns grilled in a soft tortilla.

Bagels served with cream cheese, jams and spreads.

Available in regular French roast, decaf coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Accompanied by a wide variety of cream and sugars.

All-beef ¼ lb Berks hot dogs served with condiments and a variety of chips.

Burgers@TheTurn (in the Clubhouse) – $14 each

All beef ½ lb Angus burgers served with a toppings bar and a variety of chips.

BoxLunch – $18 each

An assortment of oversized sandwiches. Selections include smoked turkey breast, honey ham, or roast beef, served with chips and a pickle.

Banquets

LightFare – $22 per person

Enjoy a mix of gourmet bread and wraps with a variety of proteins served with chips, seasonal fruit, pickles, and fresh-baked cookies.

Horsd'oeuvres - $25 per person

Artisan appetizers include a selection of gourmet cheeses, local vegetables and handmade pastries paired with savory dips. Add fresh-baked bread to round out the meal.

Beef Wellington Bites -a bite-sized appetizer featuring tender filet mignon and savory mushroom duxelles, wrapped in flaky, golden-brown puff pastry.

Thai Chicken Skewers -Marinated chicken thighs grilled and topped with a rich and savory glaze. Spanakopita - a traditional Greek pastry, featuring a puff pastry crust filled with a savory mixture of spinach, feta cheese, onions or scallions, egg, and herbs.

Mushroom & Asparagus Arancini - Crispy, golden fried rice balls featuring a creamy center of mushrooms, asparagus and cheese.

Caprese Skewers - Ripe cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls and fresh basil drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

ItalianFamilyMeal – $29 per person

A hearty spread of classic meatballs, chicken alfredo, penne pasta, Caesar salad, garlic bread, and seasonal vegetable. Cannoli included for dessert. Crab Cakes add-on available $8

SouthernBarbeque– $30 per person

Enjoy tender pulled pork and BBQ chicken served with creamy potato salad, savory mac & cheese, sweet cornbread, and fresh coleslaw. Finish the meal with seasonal pie. Brisket add-on available $8

Mediterranean – $32 per person

A flavorful selection including Greek salad, hummus with warm pita bread, grilled chicken and pork skewers, and a seasonal vegetable medley. Baklava is served for dessert. Beef Kofta add-on available

FajitaFeast – $32 per person

Build your own tacos with your choice of two proteins including skirt steak, adobo chicken. Served with Spanish rice, sautéed fajita vegetables, chips & salsa, and a full taco bar of toppings. Churros included for dessert. Shrimp add-on available $6
