The wait is finally over!
We will be opening the West and South 9's on Monday, April 20 at 12pm for walking only. th
We will have carts available for CART PATH ONLY starting on Tuesday, April 21 at 9AM. st
The time has come to play golf outside at Nemadji!! We are excited to get this season underway.
A couple of key notes for Spring Golf….
Please follow the daily golf course policies that are in place: Cart restrictions: If it is Cart Path Only please keep your carts on the paths at all times.
Repairing Ball marks: If you made one please repair it.
Raking Bunkers: If you were in one please rake it.
Sunflower seed shells: we should never find the shells on the greens, tees or left in the golf carts.
When returning your golf carts after play, please throw away all trash and park them in the cart staging area by the sign that says “Please Return Golf Carts Here.”
Please use extra caution when operating golf carts in our parking lot. If you take a cart over to the Driving Range, NEVER DRIVE OR PARK ON THE DRIVING RANGE TEE.
If you use the driving range, pick up any broken tees or garbage in your stall and please return your basket to the bin you took it out of.
We will have no on course F&B service until we start our golf leagues the week of May 11th.
Please stop in the Greens View Grille and load up before you head out to play.
Season Pass holders MUST check in with the Pro Shop prior to teeing off.
In order for us to provide the best service on a day to day basis we please just ask you to do your best to leave the golf course better than you found it.

Registration is open for the Men’s Club Spring Scramble on Monday. May 4
Each team can have either 4 or 5 players. This is a 9 hole event that will be on the North or South 9. Please call us at 715394-0266 to sign up th.
Memorial Day Tournament
All 36 holes
Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 rd th
Our Memorial Day Tournament sign ups are live!! Please sign up teams with both players. This event has a different format each day and teams will be flighted for Sunday based on Saturdays performance

We figured if you’re going to have to pull out a wallet to pay a loosing bet, it had better have Nemadji on it.

Almost everything new and exciting is in the Golf Shop for the year! We sold over 36,000 balls last year and wanted to make sure we have plenty for this year. We have some clearance clubs from last year that are going out for a great price! Stop on in and check it out

Greens View Grille Updates
A Note from the Greens View Grille
A long winter inside has us excited for late nights, 6 packs and fresh cut grass! We have most of our staff hired for the year and will be hopefully having on course food and beverage full time by Memorial Day. We will be opening up the Oasis on the North/ South again this year and making some other changes as well. We concluded our first event of the year with the Men’s Club Banquet and it went great! Our Women’s Club Banquet next week will cap off our April!
A couple new menu items are on the horizon as well for the summer and should be ready to go soon!
We also have a new food and beverage manager! James “Jimbo” Peterson will be in charge of the Greens View Grille for the upcoming year. Make sure to say Hi when you stop in.
From early mornings to evening cocktails overlooking the course, we’re excited to be your go-to destination all season long. Keep an eye out for upcoming events, featured specials, and a few new additions we think you’re going to love. We’ll see you soon because great food, cold drinks, and the best views around… it’s just gotta be Superior.

Friday Fish Fry
Greens View Grille
Each Friday we have our Fish Fry from 12-8PM. We serve Wild Caught Alaskan Pollock with our in house breading, fries, and coleslaw.
This has become a favorite of many of our regulars. Stop out this week and try it!
Fish Fry will be going until the week of Memorial Day.

We wanted to start running a weekday promotion for the end of the winter for us to be your next stop for a weekday meal. We already have the fish fry and breakfast specials, but these will be sure to satisfy during the week. They will be available all summer long!!

We have also added a Soup of the Month going forward. This month is Chicken Wild Rice.
Add a grilled cheese as a side for only $3. This was our Soup for March as well but it has been quite the hit.

A Note from our Superintendent
April has arrived, and preparations for the upcoming season are well underway. Now if we could just get a little more sunlight and warmer temperatures to help clear out the lingering snow, we’d really be in business.
This month has also brought some familiar faces back to the maintenance team. Greg Olson, who joined us last year and assisted with mowing operations, has stepped into the role of Assistant Superintendent. Greg brings over ten years of experience working on golf courses, including several years as Assistant Superintendent at Black Bear Golf Course. We’re excited to have his knowledge and leadership as we head into the season.
Greg has hit the ground running this spring, organizing cleanup efforts for our early-season crew. We’ve been busy removing fallen trees from the winter, clearing branches and saplings, and opening up some of our more crowded tee box areas. Early work has focused on the right side of 6 North tee and the right side of 14 South tee. We’ve also started removing a few nuisance trees, including some leaning trees behind the left side of 10 West green. These improvements will reduce competition and create better growing conditions for the turf in key areas around the course.
As we begin the 2026 season, I’d like to offer a quick reminder to all of our players whether you're out early finishing in under two hours, a season pass holder, part of our men’s or women’s clubs, a league player, or simply enjoying a peaceful round at Nemadji please take pride in the course. Repair ball marks, replace divots, rake bunkers, and follow cart path guidelines whenever possible. Maintaining 36 holes while hosting hundreds of rounds each day is no small task, and every little bit of help goes a long way.
Our team is committed to providing you with the best possible playing conditions, often working long days in unpredictable weather. In return, we simply ask for your courtesy and respect toward our staff as they work to make your experience enjoyable. Thank you, and we look forward to a great season at Nemadji.

Around the Green – Tuesday, April 28th - NWGC Spring Banquet / Meeting
All Nemadji Women’s Club members are invited to attend the annual Spring Banquet. Social time is 6:00 p.m., Dinner - 6:30 p.m., Meeting - 7:00 p.m. Meal is grilled chicken, roasted green beans with almonds, mash potatoes, mini French bread dinner roll, and dessert. Cost is $16.00. Any member is welcome to attend the dinner; however, I must have a number count by April 20th. Past members should have received a letter and membership card in the mail. If you haven’t sent your check and would like to attend, please reach out to me ASAP.
To play golf in a league, you must be a member of our Club. The Nemadji Women’s Golf Club dues are $25. Membership cards are available in the pro shop at Nemadji. Information regarding our leagues will be discussed at our 7:00 p.m. meeting.

Head Golf Professional, Dan Walker, attended the KemperSports Leadership Conference during the first part of March and received the following awards for Nemadji Golf Course and Greens View Grille
Par Club Award- Making Budget for 2025 True Service Award for Net Promoter Score in post round surveys
Sales and Marketing Manager, Christian Houle, attended the KemperSports Sales and Marketing Conference in Chicago march 16th-18th
Regional Marketing and Sales Director, Mary Kate Walsh and Vice President, Vince Juarez will be visiting Nemadji on Thursday, April 23 They will also be attending the City Golf Committee meeting alongside General Manager, Dan Walker and Marketing and Sales Manager, Christian Houle.

Blatnik Bridge Project
We know a ton of golfers make their way to Nemadji from Duluth and we want to keep you updated on the Blatnik Bridge Project scheduled to start in 2026. While we don’t foresee any interruption to the 2026 golf season, we will make sure to keep you updated with all the relevant information and alternate routes to the golf course Construction for the aging bridge will take approximately four to five years, with Superior Mayor Jim Paine mentioning complete bridge closure by mid-2027.
Mayor Jim Paine says the city is going to make sure they’re not overburdening their citizens in any way unless absolutely necessary to get the project done on time and on budget.
Closing Thoughts
As we wrap things up, we’re excited to officially kick off the 2026 season this Monday. It’s been a long offseason, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back out to Nemadji.
Whether it’s your first round of the year or just your first chance to get back outside, we’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and getting the season started the right way.
