Love the Boot Week is Louisiana’s largest litter removal and beautification effort with events held in all 64 parishes every April in conjunction with Earth Month. Now a statewide movement, Love the Boot Week strives to engage businesses, local and state governments, non-profits, schools, and individual citizens to work together to care for their communities and demonstrate pride in place. Anyone is invited to participate through volunteering or planning a local cleanup or beautification event. We all want to live, work, and play in a clean Louisiana. Love the Boot Week isn’t just about cleaning up. It’s a vehicle for bringing awareness to the issue of litter, spurring important dialogue and motivating change that will have a lasting impact.
