Since opening our doors more than 35 years ago, Kingsway College School has remained committedto creating a learning enviroment where students are known, challenged to aspire, and inspired to make an impact. Students grow to understand, practice and develop the qualities of our Portrait of Graduate from JK to Grade 12 so that they are ready to embrace life's challenges and opportunities in an ever-changing world.
Every seven years, KCS undertakes a rigorous accreditation process through Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), an organization representing many of Canada’s leading independent schools. This process provides both affirmation of our strengths and guidance for our continued growth.
This year’s accreditation arrives at a transformational moment in our history. Over the past several years, KCS has expanded to Grade 12, opened the Senior School campus, graduated its first class, navigated leadership transition, and continued to innovate in how students learn and flourish.
The CAIS Visiting Committee recognized the strength of our mission-driven culture, the quality of relationships between students and adults, and the innovative, personalized learning environment we are building across both campuses.
Their report affirmed what makes KCS distinctive: a deeply relational community committed to academic achievement, student well-being, and continuous improvement. At the same time, the process helped identify important areas where we can continue to grow as a school. These opportunities align closely with our future strategic direction and our commitment to sustainable, thoughtful growth.
The accreditation process is not simply about reflection it is about momentum. The work ahead will help strengthen our alignment as one school, two campuses, refine our systems and structures, and continue positioning KCS for long-term success.

We are proud of what this report says about our community, and even more excited about where it points us next.
