SYNESTHESIA PROJECT 01.

Project Year : 2022

Project Type : Individual

Softwares Used: Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Synesthesia is an immersive and interactive museum experience which promotes visibility and inclusivity for all. Going beyond the 5 senses, this museum includes programming which promotes healing, encourages a deep connection to art, nature, and to the community, with spaces tailored to suit the needs of artists with developmental disabilities, empowering all visitors to work, learn, and play.

The traditional museum is reimagined as something abstract, pushing the boundaries of form to bend, morph, and undulate in response to its unique internal sensory conditions. This gyroid-like structure produces many different connecting points between spaces both indoors and outdoors, effortless circulation through its curvilinear gestures, and various lighting and shadow conditions throughout the different times of day.

This building uses passive heating strategies through its massing, orientation, solar chimney, triple-pane operable window systems, and
