HER Cincinnati has been responding to human service needs in greater Cincinnati for almost 200 years. Today our mission to empower women to break the cycles of poverty, addiction, and human trafficking. To address these issues, we focus on three solutions – Housing, Education and Recovery –– which also explains why HER is our name –– it is both what we do and who we serve. Housing – our historic Anna Louise Inn, HER pathway to security, breaks the cycle of homelessness. Education – our innovative Cincinnati Scholar House program, HER pathway to self-sufficiency, breaks the cycle of poverty, two generations at a time! Recovery – our award winning Off the Streets program, HER pathway to recovery, breaks the cycles of addiction and human trafficking. To support these life-changing programs, we are proud to announce our 2027 Special Event Series featuring three events that will support one powerful mission. HER Cincinnati’s Housing, Education, and Recovery programs rely on generous community partners to help women move from crisis to stability, independence, and hope. Thursday, March 11, 2027 – Memorial Hall 5:00 pm Women-owned business market In a raw and honest celebration of lived experiences, women from our community will take the stage to share personal stories that reflect the challenges they've faced and the courage they've shown.These powerful narratives are delivered with heart—and a healthy dose of humor—thanks to the comedic brilliance of Joyride Comedy, a dynamic all-women comedy troupe who bring levity and laughter to even the toughest topics. This will be the second year for this unique fundraising event. In 2026 the performers received a rousing standing ovation!
Scholar House Graduation June 2027
Recognition and celebration for single moms who have graduated from college to achieve full-time employment and economic stability.
Off the Streets Graduation September 2027
A celebration for women who have completed the program and adopted a new direction to pursue a healthier life.

Last night a few of our team members attended HER Unfiltered, hosted by HER Cincinnati – a powerful celebration of women’s lived experiences.
