Dear Gamma Gamma,

I don’t know who I’d be without you When I first walked through the doors of the Kappa Delta house, I immediately felt a sense of comfort and sisterhood As I’ve been in this chapter, however, I have gained so much more than that I have gained a home, a purpose, a place to grow as a leader, a group to celebrate life’s little moments with, true friendship, and sisters that will be by my side no matter what

As a Senior journalism major approaching graduation, I have had the chance to reflect on my time in Gamma Gamma, and all I find is gratitude I am so thankful for the role models who inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and take on leadership roles. I am so thankful for the women I served alongside both as Vice President and President. Everything we’ve been able to accomplish these last two years was because of each of them and their passion for Kappa Delta.

This year, we strengthened our sisterhood and welcomed 53 new sisters, raised thousands of dollars to be donated to PCAA and our local beneficiary, built stronger relationships within the Greek community, were recognized for our academic excellence by the university, and received a chapter recognition award at the Kappa Delta National Convention We faced challenges along the way, but more importantly, we came out stronger and wiser

I strongly feel each member contributes to this chapter, whether it be through leading, serving, or cultivating the spirit of sisterhood I am so lucky to have met each of you and will continue to support you all in your future endeavors. You each have left a mark on my heart.

As I pass the role of President onto my dearest friend, Gabriella Pariti, I am so excited to see how this chapter continues to grow and achieve great things I am confident that our chapter is in great hands with the new Governing Council It has been my greatest honor to serve as Chapter President Thank you for trusting and supporting me along this journey! This has been such a blessing I will miss these days and these people Let us continue to strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest!

RECRUITMENT RECAP

Over the past year, I had the privilege of preparing and leading our chapter of Kappa Delta through primary recruitment When I got elected one of my goals was to create an environment where girls feel inspired and excited to share their Kappa Delta stories As a result of our confident and passionate recruiters we extended 53 bids to amazing women at the end primary recruitment causing us to exceed quota forgoing the COB process

Our house absolutely stunning thanks to your house decorations committee led by junior interior design student Olivia Wenzel This year, the Kappa Delta house was transformed into an enchanting showcase of elegance and sisterhood Every detail reflected our values with silk ribbons tied around each chair, soft blush and white roses with baby’s breath draped from the beams, and four crystal chandeliers casting a warm glow The foyer featured pleated curtains framing a floating LED “Kappa Delta” sign, while the mantle and kitchen overflowed with florals, pearls, and oversized vases of floating pearls From framed photos of our sisters and philanthropy Girl Scout handprints to handmade floral walls and soft green accents, every space told our story of our why KD, a true return to our roots in timeless “Elegant KD” style

Thanks to our outfits chair Reilly Gallagher our sisters looked elegant and classy For sisterhood round our sisters were in white linen skirts, dainty gold jewelry, gold heels and a custom olive green tank top For philanthropy round, our sisters were in a mix of pink and green long dresses to match perfectly with the colors of the house Our tradition of wearing white dress still remains as our sisters were in beautiful long white dresses for preference round.

During our preference round, littles and friends celebrated our seniors in a special white rose ceremony, showering them with love and white roses as we honored their legacy This is one of the most memorable moments from our recruitment

Our chapter couldn't be more excited to welcome these wonderful, well-rounded new members into our chapter! I could not be more proud of my sisters for conducting a successful recruitment!

I’ll remember my own Bid Day forever the excitement, the people, and the start of the best 4 years of my life so when I became Kappa Delta’s Bid Day Planner, I wanted to give every new member that same unforgettable experience This is the first moment new members are officially welcomed to the sisterhood so I wanted to make the day feel meaningful and full of genuine connection. Creating an atmosphere where everyone felt seen, celebrated, and part of something bigger was my goal from the start. Knowing that I helped shape a moment they’ll carry with them, just like I do, made the entire experience incredibly special.
