‘Facts Not Filters’ was a research collaboration between the Master Non Linear Narrative programme at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague and Free Press Unlimited, Amsterdam, lasting from September 2020 to January 2021. Inspired by case studies highlighting the need for press freedom all around the world, twelve students examined the complexities of culturally rooted and geographically specific nuances related to regional news reporting and distribution.
