Where do you draw inspiration for your fashion choices? I enjoy people watching, and browsing social media which is a goldmine to find inspiration for pieces to suit me and my lifestyle. Do you have a signature look or favourite fashion piece that you always gravitate towards? Absolutely! I am a huge fan of the RubyYaya button-through maxis which have the versatility to be worn as a dress or open as a duster jacket. I also love tunics to pair with shorts and jeans. How has your style evolved over the years? In my former corporate world, I wore neutrals in typical business attire. I now work from home and have the luxury to wear whatever I want so will always choose comfort over conformity. How do you express your identity through your clothing choices? I enjoy making a statement with unique clothing that makes people do a double-take. Choosing bright colours reflects my outgoing personality and I'm often complimented on my eclectic style. Are there any specific colours or patterns that you feel reflect your personality? I feel that my love of nature and travel is reflected in many Kabana pieces I wear, as these elements are often beautifully incorporated into their prints with intricate detail. How does your fashion sense align with your lifestyle? I have an easygoing lifestyle and wear clothing that aligns with it. Think: relaxed, soft and comfortable. I loathe feeling restricted. What advice do you have for readers looking to enhance their personal style? I realise many people are afraid of injecting colour into their wardrobe, but once I started experimenting wearing brights, it has been a game-changer on so many levels. Most importantly, it greatly enhances my mood, and the mood of people around me. Are there any fashion tips or tricks you've learned along the way that you'd like to share? I'm a pear shape and find pieces that cinch in at the empire line (eg. wrap dresses) are incredibly flattering. These styles always give me amazing confidence to face the day and any occasion.
