« < Good evening ladies and gentlemen. As I walk off stage I can see your upturned faces, wondering, wondering. I am walking past the front rows, back to the darker section of the auditorium, and here sits a very nice looking man. Just what is your name, sir? Mr. Ensign? And sir, just what is your occupation? Hmm, how interesting, a retired high school principal. Well, sir, I am sure you have had some very interesting experiences. We have chosen you, Mr. Donald O. Ensign, as our special guest for tonight’s show. * > "Here we are on stage, Mr. Ensign, sit down and answer truth fully this one question. Of all the classes you have had pass through the doors of your beloved Mingus High School, which of the classes do you remember? Which brought you the most grey hairs, and also the most smiles? Think hard. You say the Class of *58! How amazing! We have all the members of that class waiting backstage to meet and recall old memories with you. We will bring them out one by one., Are you ready, Mr. Ensign?” ‘‘Remember Wanda Sue Lewis? Err, I mean Freeze Frazz, her career name. She is simply beautiful in that dress. She has success fully combined her modeling career with that of a happy housewife. She is today’s Marilyn Monroe.” * I Now for another memory. Out from behind the curtain walks Charles Riley, referred to in < • Who’s Who I I as Toby. Here is a man who has made the best of his opportunities. In fact he was the one who drew the plans and financed the first rocket ship to the moon. Thus, beating the U.S.S.R. by eight months, one week, three hours and five seconds. His wife is the latest singing rage on the moon. You lucky guy!” “Here comes Nancy Harrah. There is quite a woman! Doesn’t she look charming in her white starched nurse’s uniform with the perky cap? Nancy’s the head of one of the largest hospitals in the world. You will find her lovely portrait on the cover of the latest “Arizona Highways. “Again the suspense mounts as we hear the footsteps of the now famous, Vincent (Buff) Randall. He has received a lot of publicity since the big fire which swept over Arizona. Remember folks, he was the ranger who took it upon himself to risk his own life to see that everyone was safe. He is the first one in history ever to make a Rain Dance out of season and to have such satisfactory results. No one minded the flood which swept over the path of the fire. He received a commendation from the President of the United States. “Stepping forth is the very picture of a successful business woman, wearing a tailored feed bag (which is the latest rage now). She is the Business Woman of America, an honor bestowed upon her at a banquet which was televised. Billie Jean Crose is a woman to be copied and admired. If I’m not getting too personal. Miss Crose, will you tell me where you purchased that feed bag, my wife has been looking for a nice one like that. * I “Every class must have one boy who has that something special. Ed Jacquez made use of his gift and is now the Hollywood idol, the big box office attraction of this day and age. Girls! Girls! Please, stop screaming, we must go on with the show. » I There is one dentist in town who does not have to worry about his patients’ losing their nerve and leaving. This lucky dentist has a gorgeous assistant by the name of Donna Dickerson. Here she is now to renew old times with her principal. Wow! Hope my wife isn’t watching the show tonight I * *

SENIOR PROPHECY CONTINUED * * America has managed to produce a scientist eqijal to any Germany has ever turned out. This man’s name is Jack Hannah, the equal of Einstein. Jack has made great contributions to science, among them a cure for the common cold. He is rated-among the top ten most de sirable bachelors, but from the looks of things he won’t be that long, eh. Jack?” "Starting at the Black Hills in Clarkdale, Socorro Fiqueroa has worked her way up to owning and operating the largest and best string of restaurants in the United States. She is a charming woman, rated one of the ten best dressed women of the year. My, you too have on a delightful feed sack. Excuse me, but is that a lamp shade you are wearing on your head? OUCH! I’m sorry. "Athletes come and athletes go, but this one has lingered. This man has won the Olympics title for America five years in a row and does not look that he is going to slow down any time soon. None other than Johnny Soqui is coming from behind the curtain to smile his famous smile and reminisce for a while.” "They say the best things come in little packages. Priscilla Barragan, the famous "Nightingale of Broadway” certainly is a living example. "General Motors merged with the Ford Company to form the best company ever. It has made better and safer cars for American than ever before. The credit is due to one man who had the ability to use his skill and imaginagion and that one man is none other than Bruce Van Kirk. * » And now out from behind the curtain steps another very dis tinguished person, Kay Murray, now Dean of Women at Yale University. She was able to get girls into Yale by her great phychology. • • "Last, but by no means least, out steps the Student Body Presi dent of Mingus High in '58, none other than Dianna "Johnnie” Rosasco. She is now living on the great Indian reservation of the West, teaching and gaining a great title for herself. For it was none other than Johnnie who, digging by her trailer school for water, struck oil, thus, giving the Indians an opportunity to buy Manhattan back. * » "Mr. Ensign, after glimpsing the lives of the graduates of the class of Mingus High School of 1958, do you have a comment?” "Yes, Ealph Redward, I would like to say one thing. Though I have see many classes graduate I can truthfully say that even though this class may not have appeared to be the most promising it certainly has turned out to be the most famous and progressive. "Thank you, Mr. Ensign. I’m sure the Class of ‘58 will support me all the way in saying that without your help, understanding, and steady push, they would have fallen by the wayside as they struggled for positions in life. Mr. Ensign, this has been a small portion of your life, but the Class of *58 and I trust it is a portion held dear to you. We hope that the 1958 Class Reunion has been pleasant and satis factory.
