Many a time her cheerful smile has brightened the halls of Mingus. Stef has been active in Pep Club and Chorus, each for one year. Beside watching our Football games she has participated in Powder Puff for three years, not without bruises though. In the future she is planning to either go to work or attend a Business College.

A transfer from Central High School Dede brought with her good ideas and a candid and humor ous outlook. It is the honor of the Seniors this year to have selected her as the girl with the best personality. Her future plans slant in the direction of either going to college or getting married. She was the Decca Historian, and has been active in Art 1,2,3,4; Girl's League 1,2,3; and Class Council 1,2,3.

We know her as being there when we need help. Donna has been a member of the National Honor Society and G.A.A., where baseball is her favorite sport. She belongs to several clubs, Pep Club, Spanish Club, President of the Journalism Club, teacher's aid, and the Senior Class Secretary. She plans to proceed in the field of Airline Training and eventually attended Arizona State University to major in Journalism.

Kirk was a new face to many students and faculty members this year. The Senior class has elected him most likely to succeed, and with his past records and present grades it seems very likely. Wrestling and Baseball have taken part of his time in years past, while this year he's taking it easy. He is also a member of the National Honor Society, and a delegate for the Model United Nations. His fellow journalists will never forget him ! His college plans turn in the direc tion of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Joan being a hearty worker has been in Co-op this entire year. Her Freshman year she lettered in Volleyball and was active in F. T.A. She believes in standing up for her rights and refuses to be exploited, despite the quiet attitude she gives off to those around her. Upon graduating she plans to possibly go to Arizona State University in Tempe.

Working hard for the class she was our Senior Year Social Manager. She plans to make a career as an Airline Secretary. Larry seems to be happiest during lunch hour or in Study Hall. He has participated in both Basketball and Baseball for three years. He would like to either go to Mesa College in Colorado, or Lincoln Tech in Phoenix.

"Easy Rider. " John is seen most often "up the hill. " He’s quite interested in motorcycles and isknown for his agility. He plans to go riding all over the country on completion of High School. Flash helped at a motorcycle shop in 1968 and also played Football that same year.

One of the active people . . . Pinky! She has been in cheering for all four years, in G.A.A. three years, Pep Club four years, F.T.A. , Junior Class Treasurer, and member at large in her Junior year. Her future slants toward college at Northern Arizona University to either become a teacher or physiotherapist.

Vernon's main interests during his High School years have been in Tennis and Drafting. Par ticipating a great deal in these and other clubs. Eleanor will best be remembered for her performances at chorus assemblies and the school talent show. She has been active these four years in the National Honor Society, Arizona All State Chorus, State Solo and Ensemble, F.T.A., Library Club, Pep Club and the Bible Club. Not forgetting her dramatical interests, she has been in several of Omar's plays. She would like to go to the University of Arizona or Arizona State University.

(Ever Smiling) Ruth Ann is an enthusiastic sportswoman. She has lettered in several sports, among these are: Volleyball, Badminton, and this was accomplished in G. A. A. Into her circled life she has found time to take up bowling. This year Co-op finds her working half the day. She’s not sure if she will go on to college.

Her future thoughts are in the field of beauty, she would like to attend a Beauty College, but the place is not yet set.

Even though she is often mistaken by people who don't know her very well for her twin sister, she is actually much different. Espie has a pleasing personality of her own and it is hard to miss it. All of us at one time or another have been cheered up by his jokes.

Ed has always been one to start new things. He's been real active in class workings. LDS Mission is in sight for the first few years before he goes to college, which will probably be B. Y.U. He is interested in drama and mathematics. If there's a club that looks interesting he is sure to join, so far he has been participating in, Key Club, F.T.A., and in sports Football, Track, Baseball, and Wrestling.

Barbie is well known around Mingus for both her personality and activities in cheerleading. She has been very active in several clubs and sports this and every year of High School. She was our Girl Representative for two years, Student Council Social Manager, Member at Large, in the Spanish Club, Pep Club, National Honor Society, and Candidate for both Key Club Sweetheart and F.F.
