What are bogmats
Bogmats (also called swamp mats, ground mats, or composite mats) are heavy-duty, modular mats designed to provide stable, temporary access over soft, unstable, or sensitive ground They’re widely used in construction, oil & gas, mining, utilities, and other industries where vehicles, equipment, or personnel need to move safely over challenging terrain.
Key Features of Bogmats
1.Material
o Typically made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), recycled plastics, or composite materials.
o Some heavy-duty versions include internal reinforcement to handle extreme loads.
2.Size & Modularity
o Standard bogmats are rectangular panels (~2–4 m long, 1–2 m wide, ~100 mm thick) that interlock to form longer roads or platforms.
