Program Note:
This Jindo Set was written for participants of the Sejong Music Competition to play as part of their required piano repertoire. There are three pieces in this set based on the Korean folk song “Jindo Arirang,” created for different age levels of piano participants. The first piece in the set was written for preschool-aged participants, the second for elementary, and the last for senior students.
