Natural Habitat Restoration in Progress
Restoring today for tomorrow’s future!
What is natural habitat restoration?
Natural habitat restoration is the process of assisting the recovery of an ecosystem that has been degraded, damaged or destroyed. The primary goal of restoration is to develop self-sustaining ecosystems that closely resemble natural systems in both structure and function.

Invasive plants often form a monoculture, which can decrease biodiversity and wildlife habitat, and can potentially alter soil chemistry, stability and hydrology.

During initial restoration e orts, areas may appear more disturbed. Over time, our e orts move us closer to our goal of a healthier, more natural ecosystem.
Replicating the natural re regime through prescribed res. Hydrologic restoration to support natural wetland ows.
