RACE DEPARTMENT PHILOSOPHY

Behind every victory, there is a ski built for excellence.

We are taking a major step forward: consolidating all our production into a single site to concentrate top-level expertise and skills. This project, which will span two years, is much more than an industrial change: it is a massive opportunity to strengthen our know-how and our capacity for innovation.

During the transition phase, part of our production will temporarily take place at our Spanish site, ensuring continuity and quality. Specifically, for the 2026/2027 season:

Starting from the 2027/2028 season, all race skis (FIS sizes) will be produced in the same workshop, delivering:

• Complete synergy between teams and processes.

• Optimized resources to aim for excellence.

• A unique workshop for World Cup, Europa Cup, and Factory skis.

Technologies

GEOMETRIC SHAPE

97 mm last:

- The internal last is closer to the foot at the instep. The angle is near 45° by moving back 1.5 mm, and lowering by 1 mm on the top of the foot

- The heel pocket is deeper to ensure better support

- The sole length is reduced by 3 mm to 303 mm (for size 26.5).

This improves precision, power transfer and foot interaction.

SHELL STRUCTURE

The walls of the shell are thicker to bring them closer to those of the Z Series.

The lower part of the shell has been strengthened, and the new design delivers greater torsional rigidity.

CUFF STRUCTURE

The top of the cuff has been redesigned with thicker walls.

The axis of rotation is the same as the Z Series.

The rear area has been reinforced to increase rear support and enhance the rebound.

POWER FLEX INSERT

This insert creates a strong link between the shell and cuff in this hinge area for improved power transfer.

Two options are available for adjusting the flex according to the skier’s morphology and proficiency level, or the temperature and snow conditions.

- Carbon insert (pre-mounted): extremely hard

- 53 SHD PU insert (in the box): soft.

DUAL CORE RACE

The entire HERO WORLD CUP and HERO range features the DUAL CORE technology.

The process involves three injection points on the shell and two on the cuff. This technology can be used to accurately finetune the progressive flex, rear support and rebound.

It also allows for highly effective lateral power transfer.

CANTING RACE

The canting is the same as for the Z series.

- External canting (pre-mounted): 0.5°

- External canting (in the box): 1°

- Fixed internal canting.
