Fashion is constantly evolving, but what makes it truly exciting is the dialogue between tradition and reinvention. In this March 2026 issue of QP Fashion Magazine, we celebrate voices and visions that are shaping fashion from Miami to North Africa, each bringing a distinctive perspective to the global style conversation.
On our cover, we are proud to feature Miami-based fashion designer Diana Kassabov, whose work embodies modern elegance with a confident international spirit. Diana’s designs reflect a refined understanding of femininity—clean lines, strong silhouettes, and an unmistakable sense of sophistication. In our exclusive interview, she shares her creative journey, the inspirations behind her collections, and why Miami’s vibrant cultural energy continues to influence her work.
We sit down with fashion model Theresa Goddard, whose presence and versatility in front of the camera have been turning heads in the industry.
From North Africa, we introduce readers to Meriem, the founder of the fashion brand Qoffah, a label that beautifully blends cultural heritage with contemporary design. Her story is one of creativity rooted in identity, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern silhouettes to create pieces that feel both timeless and progressive.
Beyond the runway and studio, this issue invites readers to travel with us to one of Morocco’s most enchanting destinations: Chefchaouen. Known as the “Blue City,” this mountain town captivates visitors with its painted streets, artistic spirit, and relaxed rhythm of life.
Fashion itself is also at a crossroads, and our feature “Quiet Luxury vs Bold Expression” explores the fascinating contrast between understated elegance and unapologetic statement-making. And of course, no issue would be complete without a carefully curated shopping guide. In “The New Mini Bag Edit,” we explore the season’s most desirable miniature accessories—small in size, yet powerful in style.
With admiration and excitement,

THERESA GODDARD THE MAKING OF A GLOBAL MODEL
Interview by JOSE-MARIA JIMENEZ
From her earliest days in front of the camera to commanding international campaigns and magazine covers, Australian model Theresa Goddard has built a career defined by confidence, discipline, and unmistakable presence. What began as childhood modeling quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit, eventually taking her from Australia to London at just eighteen — a pivotal step that transformed an early passion into a truly global career. Today, Theresa continues to carve out her place in the fashion industry with a work ethic and self-belief that fuels her rising momentum.
In this exclusive interview with QP Fashion Magazine , Theresa reflects on the lessons learned from an industry known for its intensity and constant reinvention. She speaks candidly about staying authentic in a world driven by image, her love for transforming into characters on set, and the inspiration she draws from the glamour of Old Hollywood and the iconic supermodel era of the ’90s and early 2000s. As she looks toward the future — including ambitions in television and building her own brand — Theresa remains focused on evolving while staying true to the confidence that defines her journey.

Theresa, take us back to the beginning — what first drew you to modeling, and when did it become more than just a dream?
I’ve been modeling my whole life — since I was a baby. My mum put me into modeling at a very young age, and my career took off early. I left Australia at 18 to move to London and pursue modeling internationally. That’s when I knew I could truly make my dreams come true.
Every model has a unique presence. How would you describe the energy you bring to a set or runway?
I bring confidence, warmth, and positive energy to every set. I’m very friendly and bubbly, and I love creating a fun atmosphere while remaining extremely hardworking and professional. I genuinely love what I do, and I think that shows in my work.
Was there a defining moment in your career that made you feel, “This is exactly where I’m meant to be”?
I would say the last couple of years have really confirmed that I belong in this industry. Having multiple international magazine covers each month, billboard campaigns, and global projects has been incredibly defining for me. Those moments made me feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
Fashion thrives on transformation. Do you enjoy becoming different characters for shoots, or do you prefer roles that reflect your natural personality?
I love transforming into different characters. It’s so creative and exciting to see myself as someone I’m not in everyday life. That’s one of the most fun parts of modeling for me.
How do you prepare mentally and physically before an important casting, campaign, or runway show?
Mentally, I feel prepared because modeling has been my whole life. Physically, I take even stricter measures with my training, nutrition, and beauty routines. I’m already disciplined, but before major projects I become even more focused.
“I genuinely love what I do, and I think that shows in my work.”
In an industry built on image, how do you protect and nurture your authentic self?
I don’t get caught up in every beauty trend or artificial standard. I focus on maintaining my natural beauty and physique while staying true to who I am. For me, authenticity is power.
What has been the most challenging lesson modeling has taught you so far?
The industry is extremely tough. It has taught me that you truly need to believe in yourself, because no one will believe in you the way you can believe in yourself. You have to understand how rare and valuable you are and what you bring to the world.
Social media has become a powerful tool for models. How do you balance visibility with maintaining a sense of mystery? My social media mainly focuses on my work. I don’t usually share much of my private life with friends and family. I keep it professional — posting my modeling, gym routine, beauty, and lifestyle content. Social media definitely plays a massive role in building a successful career in today’s industry.
Which designers, photographers, or fashion eras inspire you the most creatively?
I’m deeply inspired by the ’90s and early 2000s. I also love Old Hollywood glamour — that era was so beautiful when it comes to hair and makeup. The 2000s were very editorial and chic, and I’ve always admired the photographers and designers who defined those periods and continue to influence fashion today.
What does confidence mean to you, and how has your definition of it evolved throughout your career?
Confidence is everything in this industry. You have to believe in yourself and know how special you are. It means walking into a room, owning your presence, and giving your absolute best every single time.

Off duty, how would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is sexy, elegant, chic, and glamorous. I dress for my body and how I feel — not always for the weather! I would definitely say my style is glamorous and if I’m not glam I’m in a cute gym outfit heading to a workout. The fashion industry is constantly redefining beauty standards. What changes have you observed, and what progress would you like to see?
Beauty standards have definitely changed. I sometimes miss the ’90s and early 2000s supermodel era — when models came from nothing and proved themselves purely through their work and presence. You didn’t have to be a nepo baby or a famous influencer to succeed. I’m open to change, but that’s how I feel about where the industry is heading right now.
Many aspiring models read QP Fashion Magazine. What practical advice would you give to young talent hoping to break into the
industry?
Never give up. If you truly believe you can make it, you can. The only person standing in the way of your dreams is you.
Outside of modeling, what passions or projects are closest to your heart?
I’m obsessed with fitness and the gym. I love traveling the world, discovering new cities, and everything related to beauty, hair, and fashion. I enjoy shopping, watching movies, dining out, socializing — but I also love being at home, watching Netflix , and cooking a delicious dinner.
When you look ahead five years, what legacy do you hope to be building — not just as a model, but as a woman in fashion?
In five years, I see myself moving more into TV and presenting, exploring where that path can take me. I want to travel even more and continue pushing my career to the next level. I would also love to create my own brand one day in the fashion and beauty world.
“I love traveling the world, discovering new cities, and everything related to beauty, hair, and fashion. .”

DIANA KASSABOV DESIGNING CONFIDENCE FOR THE MODERN WOMAN
Interview by JOSE-MARIA JIMENEZ
For designer Diana Kassabov , fashion is far more than fabric and form—it is a powerful language of confidence, identity, and transformation. Since launching her namesake label in 2019, Diana has built a brand grounded in a simple yet profound philosophy: when a woman feels beautiful, she moves through the world differently. Her designs—defined by seductive silhouettes, architectural cuts, and impeccable craftsmanship—are created to celebrate the individuality, strength, and elegance of women everywhere.
Based in Miami , Diana draws inspiration from vibrant cultures, global travel, and the remarkable women who shape her life. Each garment is designed and constructed locally in her Miami atelier, where she oversees every stage of the process to ensure exceptional fit, quality, and intention. In this exclusive conversation with QP FASHION MAGAZINE , Diana reflects on the moment she decided to transform a dream into a fashion house, how her background as a model shaped her approach to design, and why empowering women remains the beating heart of her brand. TALENT: DIANA KASSABOV @dianakassabov

Your brand was created “by a woman for all women.” What personal experiences shaped that powerful foundation?
I started my brand from a deep understanding of the transformative power of feeling beautiful. When a woman looks amazing, something shifts within her—she stands taller, feels empowered, confident, seen, and completely unapologetic in her presence. That feeling is the heart of everything I design.
My vision has always been to create pieces that allow women to experience that transformation while remaining both elevated and accessible— designs that celebrate and complement the unique shapes, personalities, and individuality of every woman.
I believe clothing should never exist merely to cover the body. Fashion is far more powerful than that. It is a tool of expression, confidence, and identity. The right piece has the ability to transform how a woman sees herself and how she moves through the world.
Through my designs, my goal is to help every woman step into the most confident, radiant, and powerful version of herself.
You launched DIANA KASSABOV in 2019. What was the defining moment that made you say, now is the time?
everything.
As a Mexican designer based in Miami, how does your cultural heritage influence your aesthetic and creative process?
Having lived in Florida for more than half of my life, the place I now call home has become an integral part of my identity. Yet my roots remain deeply connected to Mexico , where I was raised surrounded by vibrant color, intricate patterns, and the presence of strong, inspiring women. That early environment—rich with culture, artistry, and femininity—continues to influence the way I see beauty and design today.
At the same time, my creative vision has always extended far beyond one place. Through travel and a deep appreciation for the diversity of cultures around the world, I have found endless inspiration in the women who embody them. Their strength, elegance, and individuality continually shape the perspective I bring to my work. These influences come together in my designs, creating pieces that feel both globally inspired and deeply personal—celebrating the beauty, confidence, and spirit of women everywhere.
“Fashion is a tool of expression, confidence, and identity.”
For many years, this brand existed first as a dream. Like so many women building their lives and careers, I became immersed in the responsibilities of the present and the pursuit of the future we are taught to prioritize.
But in 2019, I experienced a profound moment of clarity. I realized that waiting for the “right time” is often an illusion. If you continue to wait for the perfect moment, it may never arrive.
In that instant, something shifted. I made the conscious decision that I would no longer wait for the right time—I would create it. I chose to begin now, to trust my vision, and to commit fully to turning a long-held dream into reality. That decision became the beginning of
You’ve described your silhouettes as seductive with architectural cuts. How do you balance sensuality with sophistication?
Elegance in a woman is essential, but preserving that elegance while embracing her natural sensuality is an art. It is a delicate balance—one that celebrates femininity with both strength and grace.
That balance is always at the center of my design philosophy. Every piece I create is imagined with the intention of highlighting a woman’s elegance while allowing her sensuality to feel effortless, natural, and confident.
Fit and quality are central to your brand. What is your design process when creating pieces that complement diverse female body shapes? Every garment is designed and constructed in Miami, the city I proudly call home. I have made the conscious decision not to manufacture overseas, allowing me to remain closely connected to every stage of the process.
Being present in the atelier gives me the opportunity to oversee every detail—from the earliest sketch to the final stitch. I am personally involved in both the smallest refinements and the most significant creative decisions, ensuring that each piece reflects the integrity and vision of the brand.
Fit is at the heart of everything we create. Our designs are tested on women of different shapes and sizes, carefully refining each silhouette to ensure that every piece feels flattering and effortless. The goal is always the same: to celebrate and accentuate a woman’s natural shape, allowing her to feel confident, elegant, and empowered in what she wears.
Having been a longtime model yourself, how did being on the other side of the camera shape your understanding of garment construction and confidence?
My years working as a model for many different designers taught me invaluable lessons about fashion and the way clothing shapes the way women feel. Experiencing garments from the inside of the industry allowed me to observe how differently designers interpret the female form.
It also made me aware of the details that, in my opinion, needed to evolve when creating clothing for women.
For me, the ultimate goal of a garment is not simply to be beautiful, but to make a woman feel her best—to highlight her body in the most flattering way and, in doing so, elevate her confidence.
Your collections feel bold yet wearable. How do you ensure accessibility while maintaining elevated craftsmanship?
Quality has always been at the core of my vision. From the beginning, the brand has been built around an uncompromising focus on craftsmanship—construction, fabrics, and the integrity of every detail.
It is a true passion of mine, and it has guided
every decision behind the brand. Rather than prioritizing large budgets for public relations, marketing, or outside agencies, we choose to invest our resources where it matters most: in the garments themselves. In the quality of the fabrics, the precision of the construction, and the care that goes into creating every piece.
For me, the product must always speak first. When a garment is beautifully made and thoughtfully designed, it carries its own quiet power.
You often speak about how clothing should make a woman feel “Seen. Empowered. Unafraid.” How do you translate emotion into fabric and structure?
I feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by remarkable women who understand and embody this feeling. Women who are strong, confident, and inspiring in their own unique ways.
At the same time, I continue to meet extraordinary women from cultures around the world—women whose strength, brilliance, and individuality constantly inspire me. Their presence, their stories, and their spirit are often what spark the ideas that eventually translate into my designs. In many ways, the women who inspire me become the very essence of the pieces I create.
Miami is known for its vibrancy and sensual energy. How does the city influence your color palettes, textures, and silhouettes?
Miami has a style entirely its own—vibrant, confident, and unmistakably expressive. Living here, I find inspiration everywhere I look. The city’s energy, its diversity, and its effortless sense of glamour constantly influence my creative perspective.
Miami’s spirit is bold yet sensual, relaxed yet refined, and that duality often finds its way into my designs. It is a place where individuality is celebrated, and that freedom of expression continues to inspire the way I approach fashion.
“Miami’s energy, its diversity, and its effortless sense of glamour constantly influence my creative perspective.”

Growing up in an all-female family, what lessons about womanhood most deeply impacted your design philosophy?
I grew up surrounded by strong, independent, determined, and incredibly stylish women who shaped the way I see the world. From them, I learned lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life.
They taught me that first impressions matter. That you should always dress for the life you aspire to, not only the one you have. That confidence is powerful, elegance is timeless, and that there should never be limits placed on what a woman can achieve.
Those early influences continue to guide my creative perspective today. They shaped the way I approach design and the way I think about the women who wear my pieces.
I am drawn to creating timeless garments, but always with a distinctive twist—pieces that feel elegant and enduring, yet modern and expressive at the same time.
You’re involved in women’s advocacy organizations. How does that activism intersect with your brand identity?
I have always believed deeply in the values I speak about, and giving back has long been an important part of my life. Throughout the years, I have been involved with organizations dedicated to supporting women and families, causes that are very close to my heart.
Empowering women extends far beyond fashion. For me, it is about creating opportunities, offering support, and contributing in meaningful ways to help women in need build stronger, more secure futures.
Helping women create better lives for themselves and their families—the lives they deserve—is something I consider both a responsibility and a privilege. It is a purpose that continues to inspire me, both personally and through the work I do.
Many designers chase trends, yet your work feels intentional and timeless. How do you decide
what to embrace and what to ignore?
Fashion trends may come and go, but true sophistication never fades. It is timeless. While I always stay attentive to the evolution of fashion and the direction the industry is moving toward, I believe it is equally important to remain grounded in one’s identity. I am inspired not only by what defines the present moment, but also by what will shape the future of fashion. Yet through that constant evolution, I never compromise the foundation of my design philosophy.
What fabrics and materials do you gravitate toward when creating your signature structured yet feminine shapes?
Quality is essential in everything we create, but it is always guided by the design itself. Each piece is approached thoughtfully, allowing the construction and materials to complement the intention of the garment.
We are always drawn to fabrics that feel luxurious to the touch—materials that move beautifully and enhance the experience of wearing the piece. When a design embraces simplicity, we often elevate it through intricate fabrics or refined textures that add depth and character.
Can you walk us through the journey of a single design—from inspiration to final construction in your Miami studio?
Every design begins with an idea. From there, the process evolves organically, as each piece has its own identity and purpose.
The first step is imagining the woman who will wear it. I think about her lifestyle, her personality, and how the garment will make her feel. I consider where she might wear it, the mood it should convey, and the statement it will make. Only then do I begin sketching the design.
From there, I work closely with my team to select the fabrics and discuss the best approach to construction and fitting. Together, we consider how the garment should move, how it should shape the body, and how to achieve the most flattering silhouette for that particular design.
“Fashion trends may come and go, but true sophistication never fades. It is timeless.”
We then create samples and refine them through multiple fittings until the fabric, the structure, and the vision feel perfectly aligned. Once we reach that point, we test the piece on different body shapes to ensure that the design remains flattering and balanced.
Only when the fit, the proportions, and the overall feeling are exactly right do we consider the piece complete.
What has been the most challenging moment since founding your label, and how did you overcome it?
Beginning something new inevitably comes with challenges. Every journey of creation requires resilience, patience, and the willingness to navigate uncertainty.
For me, the most important thing is to remain focused—never losing sight of what I am building or the reason I started. Staying connected to that purpose keeps everything grounded, even during the most demanding moments.
With a clear vision, dedication, and perseverance, I believe that challenges become part of the process rather than obstacles. It is through hard work and unwavering belief in that vision that ideas are ultimately transformed into reality.
Your designs celebrate femininity while keeping it undeniably sexy. How do you define modern femininity in 2026?
Femininity in 2026 is a beautiful paradox—simple in its essence, yet intricate in its expression.
What kind of woman do you envision when designing a new collection? Is she inspired by someone specific?
My inspiration comes from women around the world who strive to feel their very best—women who seek to become the most confident and authentic version of themselves.
It is inspired by women who embrace their own beauty and feel comfortable in their own skin. Women who travel, who explore new places, and who find joy in discovering the world around them.
It is also inspired by women who understand the power of confidence—the kind of confidence that helps them pursue their dreams, achieve their goals, and create the lives they envision for themselves.
Ultimately, my work is designed for women who live with intention, curiosity, and strength— women who understand that what they wear can be a reflection of who they are becoming.
As a woman-owned and operated business, what advice would you give aspiring female designers looking to launch their own labels?
My advice is simple: understand that anything is possible. If someone else has achieved something, there is no reason you cannot pursue it as well.
The most important thing is not to give up. Passion must be accompanied by perseverance— the strength to overcome every obstacle that appears along the way. Believing in yourself, maintaining discipline, and staying determined through challenges are essential.
At the same time, preparation matters. Learning as much as possible about your craft, your industry, and the path you want to follow will only strengthen your foundation.
And perhaps most importantly, surrounding yourself with a supportive community—people who believe in you and encourage your vision— can make an incredible difference on the journey. With passion, dedication, and resilience, dreams have the power to become reality.
What role does travel and exposure to different cultures play in shaping your creative direction?
Travel has always been an essential part of who I am as a designer. It has profoundly shaped my aesthetic and the way I see beauty.
Experiencing different cultures, observing diverse architecture, and immersing myself in new environments continually expand my creative perspective. Each destination offers its own visual language—colors, textures, silhouettes, and energy that inevitably find their way into my work.
“My inspiration comes from women around the world who strive to feel their very best.”

But perhaps the greatest inspiration comes from the women I encounter along the way. Their personalities, their individual styles, and the unique character they carry with them are endlessly fascinating to me.
Every journey leaves a mark, and those experiences quietly translate into the designs I create.
Looking ahead, what is the next evolution for your brand? Are there new categories, collaborations, or global expansions on the horizon?
We do have exciting new categories in development that will be introduced very soon. While I cannot reveal too much just yet, it is something we are incredibly excited about and look forward to sharing in the near future.
Expansion has always been part of the vision for the brand. My goal has always been to grow thoughtfully and continue evolving. Ultimately, we hope to reach women around the world— creating pieces that allow them to feel confident, elegant, and empowered wherever they are.

QOFFAH WEAVING HERITAGE, COLOR, AND COURAGE
Interview by JOSE-MARIA JIMENEZ
For Meriem , the founder of QOFFAH , fashion begins with a story. Inspired by the humble qoffah—a traditional North African basket passed down through generations—her brand reflects a philosophy rooted in heritage, inclusivity, and cultural dialogue. What began as a symbol of everyday life in Moroccan homes has become the foundation of a design language that blends African vibrancy, European craftsmanship, and a contemporary spirit of creativity.
In this conversation with QP FASHION MAGAZINE , Meriem shares how childhood memories of fabrics, the transformative experience of motherhood, and a life lived across cultures shaped the vision behind QOFFAH . From bold accessories inspired by souk treasures to a commitment to global craftsmanship and sustainability, her work celebrates individuality, storytelling, and the power of fashion to connect traditions with modern self-expression.
BRAND: QOFFAH @qoffah SPECIAL THANKS TO MAISON PRIVÉE @maisonpriveepr_la

The name QOFFAH carries both a literal meaning and a powerful symbolic one. What made the basket such an important metaphor for your brand’s identity?
I chose the name QOFFAH for its powerful symbolism. Deeply rooted in Morocco , yet universal in its meaning.
In North Africa , the qoffah (/Co-Fa/) is far more than a basket. Found in nearly every home and often passed down from mothers or grandmothers, it accompanies families throughout life. It carries, stores, shares, and preserves, making it a beautiful symbol of continuity and connection.
What moves me most is that the qoffah belongs to everyone. It transcends status, age, or social background, and that sense of inclusivity is at the heart of my brand. Growing up, I often felt that fashion belonged to a certain world, one defined by codes, status, or ideals that didn’t always feel accessible. With QOFFAH , I wanted to challenge that perception and create a vision of fashion that is open, generous, and made for all bodies, ambitions, and identities.
I love that this idea transcends cultures. Long before leather bags, every society had its own handwoven basket, tied to everyday life and full of stories. That universality fascinates me: something humble, useful, and beautiful found across the world, carrying meaning and heritage. For me, QOFFAH embodies exactly that: heritage, generosity, and a fashion language that connects cultures while remaining deeply meaningful.
textures, and colors, so much so that my family nicknamed me “Miss Little Fabrics.” I loved collecting scraps, arranging them, and imagining how they could become something new. Every ribbon, every piece of cloth, felt like a tiny world of possibility.
Those early moments shaped my creative path in profound ways. They taught me to see potential in materials, to experiment without fear, and to let imagination guide the process. That sense of curiosity and tactile exploration became the foundation for my approach to design, and it’s something that continues to inspire every collection I create with QOFFAH .
“I aim to craft pieces that honor their origins while speaking to the modern world.”
Many designers say their journey began with a moment of realization. When did you first know that fashion design would become your life’s purpose?
For me, balancing these cultural influences starts with respect. Respect for heritage, for craftsmanship, and for the stories each element carries. African colors bring energy, symbolism, and emotion; European leather craftsmanship adds precision, structure, and a commitment to lasting quality; and modern creativity allows me to reinterpret both in a contemporary, playful way.
The key is harmony. Nothing is added for effect alone. Every detail, every texture, every hue serves the story of the piece. Together, they create a design language that feels cohesive yet layered, rooted in tradition but entirely of the moment. With QOFFAH , I aim to craft pieces that honor their origins while speaking to the modern world, where cultures, ideas, and creativity can beautifully intersect.
What role do heritage and storytelling play when you design?
Your childhood nickname, “Miss Little Fabrics,” is a beautiful origin story. Can you share more about those early memories and how they shaped your creative path?
As a child, I was always drawn to fabrics,
Heritage and storytelling mean everything to me. I believe we’re all meant to tell stories - our own, but also the stories of places and cultures that have left a mark on us. Traveling and living across different continents has shown me how wonderfully colorful and diverse the world
is. I’ve experienced the elegance of being a Parisian sophisticated girl, the playful charm of a Taiwanese girly girl, and the confidence of an American go-getter. Fashion captures all of that - it shapes how we feel, how we move, and how we express ourselves. I strive to transform those experiences into pieces that embody emotion, heritage, and a subtle dialogue between cultures.
The brand was also inspired by motherhood and your desire to show your daughter the power of following dreams. How has becoming a mother influenced your creativity and leadership as a designer?
Motherhood has profoundly shaped both my creativity and my approach as a designer. As a mom, you’re always on the move, balancing practicality with the desire to feel beautiful, confident, and unique. Watching my children, I’m reminded of their fearlessness, their willingness to try new things, and it inspires me to embrace resilience, curiosity, and joy in my own work.
QOFFAH reflects that spirit. Our designs are full of color and personality, from the playful “Hat bag” to the versatile “Bag-in-bag”. I love creating pieces that serve multiple purposes, because as a mother you learn to be adaptable, resourceful, and ready for anything at any moment. In that sense, we are the warriors of fashion—bold, imaginative, and unstoppable.
When you begin designing a new collection, do you usually start with materials, colors, shapes, or a story?
Every design begins with a memory, a story, or an object that has left its mark on me, something I can reimagine and bring to life in a new way. Take the “Berries bag”, inspired by the little wallets women carry to the souk, or the Ilsa bag, which draws from the intricate patterns of Andalusian mosaics and the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean . Each piece carries a piece of history, culture, and personal emotion.
I often return to my childhood, to the moments and objects that made me feel precious and alive. I think of Morocco , of wandering the souks, surrounded by fabrics, spices, and colors that
collide in what feels like a beautiful, joyful chaos. That energy—the sense of wonder, curiosity, and play—is what I strive to capture. I want each QOFFAH creation to open the imagination, to make people feel uniquely themselves, and to inspire them to step into the world ready to write their own story.
QOFFAH celebrates individuality and bold self-expression. What kind of person do you imagine wearing your designs?
I imagine someone who wants to feel free, creative, and unique—someone unafraid to express themselves and embrace all the dimensions of their life and passions. A QOFFAH individual invents their own style, plays with color and form, and moves through the world with curiosity, confidence, and joy. They don’t conform to labels or expectations; they create their own path and wear fashion as an extension of who they truly are.
Craftsmanship is central to luxury fashion. What makes the European leather ateliers you collaborate with special?
Craftsmanship is at the heart of luxury, and at QOFFAH, we collaborate with exceptional ateliers around the world. In Europe, leather artisans bring decades of experience, precision, and a deep respect for materials. In Morocco, we work with skilled artisans creating raffia and other natural woven products, honoring techniques passed down through generations. In India, we collaborate with ateliers producing the finest silks and sustainable materials, where tradition meets conscientious design.
For me, craftsmanship knows no borders—we seek it wherever it exists, in the hands of people who are passionate, meticulous, and inspired. These collaborations allow us to transform raw materials into pieces that are not only beautiful but also carry heritage, care, and enduring quality, reflecting the soul of QOFFAH in every creation.
Africa has a rich visual heritage of textiles, patterns, and colors. Are there particular regions, traditions, or artists that inspire your work the most?
Africa is a world of endless inspiration. Its
“Every design begins with a memory, a story, or an object that has left its mark on me, something I can reimagine and bring to life in a new way.”

diversity is breathtaking—from the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean to the golden savannas, from lush rainforests to sunscorched deserts, and the vibrant rhythm of its cities. Everywhere you look, nature itself offers the most extraordinary patterns, colors, and textures, inviting the imagination to run wild.
The continent is a treasure trove of creativity, with traditions, textiles, and stories so rich and deep that they feel timeless. For me, Africa is the heart of QOFFAH . We are, above all, an African brand, and our work is a celebration of its colors, its heritage, and its boundless imagination—a way to honor a continent that is at once ancient, alive, and endlessly inspiring.
Many independent designers face significant challenges while building a brand. What were some of the biggest obstacles you encountered when launching QOFFAH?
One of the biggest challenges was learning how important it is to keep believing in your vision, even when the path is uncertain. Building an independent brand means constantly facing doubts, delays, and moments when things do not unfold as quickly as imagined, so resilience becomes essential.
I also learned how important it is to protect your own voice. In fashion, there are many expectations and outside opinions, but staying true to what feels authentic is what gives a brand its identity. For me, QOFFAH grew by holding on to that conviction, allowing the vision to evolve, while never losing the essence of what I set out to create
The fashion world is becoming increasingly global. How does QOFFAH reflect the idea of cultures intertwining in today’s creative landscape?
QOFFAH reflects that idea very naturally, because the brand itself was born from different worlds meeting. My own journey across continents shaped the way I see design, how cultures can speak to one another through color, craftsmanship, materials, and emotion.
At QOFFAH, African heritage meets European savoir-faire, while influences from Asia, the Mediterranean, and contemporary global life also find their place. I love the idea that a piece
can carry different references at once and still feel harmonious. To me, today’s creative landscape is not about separating influences, but about allowing them to coexist beautifully and create something new, meaningful, and open to the world.
Accessories often carry emotional significance—they accompany us through journeys. What emotions or experiences do you hope people feel when wearing QOFFAH?
I have always loved accessories because, growing up, I was very conscious of my body (as many women are), and accessories felt like the most liberating part of fashion. They were the one space where I could play, experiment, and express myself without limits of size or gender. That freedom stayed with me and shaped the way I think about design today.
What I love most is how inclusive accessories are - they belong to everyone, and they have the power to completely transform how you feel. A single piece can shape an outfit, elevate it, and give it personality or emotion. To me, fashion would feel incomplete, almost too quiet, without accessories, because they are often what bring individuality, character, and that final spark that makes a look truly come alive.
Sustainability and ethical production are becoming essential topics in fashion. How does QOFFAH approach responsible design and sourcing?
At QOFFAH, sustainability and ethics are at the heart of everything we do. We work with natural materials like raffia and ethically sourced leather, partnering with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible, environmentally conscious practices. Every artisan involved is fairly compensated, ensuring respect and integrity throughout the production process.
We are also dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship. Through the Qoffah Alliance , our nonprofit initiative, we celebrate ancestral techniques, promote sustainable alternatives, and create positive impact for local communities and the environment. For us, responsible design isn’t just a practice, it’s a way to honor heritage, nurture creativity, and make fashion meaningful.
“I love the idea that a piece can carry different references at once and still feel harmonious.”
Do you have a signature design element that immediately identifies an accessory of as QOFFAH?
At QOFFAH , our signature lies in the bold use of color and unique, inventive shapes. Each accessory is designed to stand out, whether through vibrant palettes or unexpected forms. Some of our most recognizable pieces, like the Bag’n Bag , combine two bags into one for travel and versatility, while the Hat Bag merges a hat and a bag into a single, playful creation. These designs reflect our philosophy: accessories should be practical yet imaginative, functional yet full of personality, and always instantly recognizable as QOFFAH .
Who are some designers, artists, or cultural figures that have influenced your aesthetic vision?
What inspires me most are the artisans—the makers who spend hours bringing ideas to life with patience, skill, and devotion. I am endlessly fascinated by the process of creation and the dedication it demands. I’ve also recently been reading about Cristóbal Balenciaga ’s story, and I am deeply moved by the way he approached couture—crafting garments from start to finish with vision, precision, and artistry. His unwavering commitment to craft and the transformative power of design reminds me that it’s not just the final piece that matters, but the journey, the hands, and the imagination that bring it to life.
When I moved to the United States , my boss started calling me “ Audrey ”—a reference to Audrey Hepburn —because my style was elegant, and probably a little old-fashioned. I’ve always admired Audrey not only for her impeccable style, but for her charisma, poise, and the way she could make simplicity feel extraordinary. Her influence, combined with the stories of artisans and creators like Balenciaga, continues to shape my aesthetic vision at QOFFAH , inspiring me to design pieces that carry emotion, craftsmanship, and a sense of enduring elegance.
If you could collaborate with any fashion house, artist, or creative visionary, who would it be and why?
I dream of collaborating with designers and
artists across Africa , the Arab world, and beyond—creatives who transform heritage into bold, modern visions while staying true to their own voice. Names like Rami Al Ali , Elie Saab , Maison Alaïa , Iman Hamman , Jeremiah Ogbodo , and Law Roach inspire me with their ability to push boundaries, tell stories through craftsmanship and color, and create truly beautiful fashion. Working with such visionaries would be a chance to weave together cultures, traditions, and imagination, celebrating creativity, individuality, and the limitless possibilities of design.
What has been the most rewarding moment in your journey since founding QOFFAH?
Some of the highlights of my journey with QOFFAH have been incredible milestones, like being nominated for the Arab Fashion Award by the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, showcasing at New York Fashion Week 2025, or presenting at Ana Arabia in Saudi Arabia. Yet, beyond the awards and shows, the moments that stay with me most are the simple, human ones—meeting people carrying our pieces, seeing them enjoy our work, and sharing the brand’s vision with the world. Being able to follow my passion every day and see it resonate with others is deeply rewarding, and every interaction reminds me that this dream is now a living reality.
Looking ahead, how do you envision the brand evolving over the next five years?
Over the next five years, I envision QOFFAH as an internationally recognized brand celebrated for its bold, colorful, and artistic style, while remaining deeply rooted in its Moroccan heritage. I want every creation to tell a story, reflect a unique cultural legacy, and honor traditional craftsmanship, all while speaking to a contemporary aesthetic.
I also hope QOFFAH becomes a source of inspiration for other creators and dreamers, showing that it’s possible to follow your passion, push boundaries, and reinvent fashion with courage and freedom. Ultimately, I want QOFFAH to be known not only for its designs but for its ability to encourage creativity, personal expression, and the boldness to dare—while celebrating tradition and honoring people in all their complexity.
“What inspires me most are the artisans, the makers who spend hours bringing ideas to life with patience, skill, and devotion.”

FASHION
QUIET LUXURY VS. BOLD EXPRESSION
MINIMALIST ELEGANCE MEETS
MAXIMALIST FASHION POWER
Fashion in 2026 is defined by a fascinating duality. On one side is quiet luxury—the refined, understated aesthetic built on impeccable tailoring and timeless fabrics. On the other is bold expression, the resurgence of maximalist fashion that celebrates color, personality, and dramatic silhouettes.
Together, these opposing styles are shaping the current fashion conversation and redefining what modern luxury looks like.
THE RISE OF QUIET LUXURY
Quiet luxury has become synonymous with effortless elegance. Rather than relying on visible logos or flashy embellishments, the aesthetic emphasizes quality craftsmanship, timeless silhouettes, and refined fabrics. Think tailored wool coats, silk blouses, and perfectly cut trousers in a palette of camel, ivory, navy, and charcoal. The beauty of quiet luxury lies in its subtlety—luxury that whispers rather than shouts.
The aesthetic has been championed by heritage fashion houses and minimalist designers such as Loro Piana, Hermès, and Bottega Veneta, whose collections focus on craftsmanship and enduring style instead of seasonal trends.
Culturally, quiet luxury reflects a broader shift toward intentional consumption and investment dressing. Rather than chasing trends, consumers increasingly seek pieces designed to last for years.
On recent runways, the influence of icons like Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy—known for her minimalist 1990s wardrobe—has reinforced this timeless approach to luxury fashion.
Key Elements of Quiet Luxury
:
Neutral color palettes
Premium fabrics such as cashmere, silk, and wool
Minimal branding
Tailored silhouettes
Investment wardrobe staples
In essence, quiet luxury communicates status through taste, restraint, and craftsmanship rather than visual spectacle.

THE RETURN OF BOLD EXPRESSION
While minimalism dominated much of the early 2020s, fashion’s pendulum is swinging back toward maximalism—a vibrant movement that celebrates individuality and artistic expression. Maximalist fashion thrives on bold colors, oversized shapes, rich textures, and playful layering. It invites experimentation with prints, embellishments, and dramatic silhouettes that turn clothing into a visual statement.
The trend has gained momentum as designers and consumers seek emotional expression through clothing. Fashion psychologists note that dressing boldly can be empowering, offering a sense of optimism and creativity during uncertain times. Recent runway collections illustrate this shift: exaggerated power shoulders, vibrant color palettes, and theatrical silhouettes have returned to the spotlight. Spring 2026 in particular is seeing a surge of highsaturation colors and statement prints, signaling a departure from the muted tones associated with minimalist luxury.
Key Elements of Maximalist Fashion :
Bold colors and graphic prints
Layered textures and embellishments
Dramatic silhouettes and proportions
Statement accessories
Individualistic styling
Where quiet luxury whispers sophistication, maximalism celebrates fashion as performance and art.
TWO PHILOSOPHIES OF STYLE
The contrast between quiet luxury and bold expression reveals two distinct fashion philosophies.
Quiet Luxury
Understated elegance
Timeless and investment-focused
Minimal branding
Sophisticated simplicity
Bold Expression
Fashion as self-expression
Colorful and experimental
High visual impact
Emotion-driven styling
Interestingly, many designers are now blending both approaches. A minimalist tailored suit might be paired with a bold statement bag or sculptural jewelry, creating a balance between refinement and personality.
