Decodable Readers Our Decodable Readers offer a variety of interesting titles for children learning to read and write with Jolly Phonics. The books use a carefully controlled vocabulary based on the 42 letter sounds, tricky words and alternative spellings taught across Steps 1 to 3. Each level includes three series of books and incorporates new phonic knowledge, more tricky words and longer texts, to build reading confidence and fluency. Comprehension questions and discussion topics are included at the end of each book to ensure children can not only read the text, but also get meaning from it.
