3 to 6

Our foundation stage program teaches the 5 key skills needed for reading and writing.
Children learn the letter sounds, letter formation, blending, segmenting, and tricky words.
The program uses a multi-sensory approach, appealing to a wide range of learning styles, and can be adapted easily to specific learning needs.
It is the foundation for our Jolly Literacy programs, which are introduced from Grade 1.
This builds on Jolly Phonics and offers two six-level programs with resources covering Grades 1 to 6.
Spelling, Grammar, & Punctuation provides two lessons a week. It teaches new spelling patterns, dictionary and thesaurus skills, and complex grammatical concepts in an engaging and child-friendly way.
Reading Comprehension & Writing Skills provides two further weekly lessons. In the first, children explore a variety of rich texts that interweave the spelling, vocabulary, and grammar learned earlier that week. The second lesson uses those texts as a springboard for stimulating ideas and introducing strategies to promote independent writing.

Our digital platform makes lesson planning and teaching a breeze — bringing everything you need and all of our programs together in one convenient place.
The platform is currently home to Jolly Phonics — providing lessons for Steps 1, 2, and 3. We have also recently added Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation — providing lessons for Grade 1; Grades 2–6 are coming soon.
