CLUBS HANDBOOK PRIMARY
PRIMARY CLUBS - TERM 3 2026
Dear Parents/Carers and Years 2–6 Students,
We are excited to once again offer a range of Primary School clubs in Term 3! Clubs will run from Week 3 through to Week 9.
Please take some time to read through the attached booklet with your child and discuss the available options before making your selection.
Please complete the online form using the link below. Parents/Carers are asked to complete this with their child. Please submit a separate form for each child.
As many clubs have limited places, we encourage you to submit your selections as soon as possible. The online form will close on Tuesday 28 July at 5:00 pm. Families will be notified by Friday 31 July in Week 2 regarding club allocations, along with any additional information. Important reminders:
Afternoon clubs conclude at 4:00 pm. Please see First Lego League and Triathlon Club for their times as they are different.
Students must be collected from the classroom or designated club area.
Students are not permitted to leave without a parent/guardian present or walk down to the car park to meet a parent.
If your child is being collected by someone else, please notify the club teacher in writing.
Any club absences must be reported to Primary Reception prior to the session.

Come and join us for some literary fun! Students will enjoy sharing their favourite books, listening to stories, and participating in fun activities. It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends through the love of shared reading.

ART AND CRAFT CLUB

Art and Craft Club gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity through drawing, painting, cutting, and simple craft activities.
Each week, students will engage in fun, hands-on projects that encourage imagination and creativity. The club allows students to express their ideas in a relaxed and supportive environment while enjoying art with their peers.

Educational gaming involves using online games as a tool for learning, where students develop important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and digital literacy in a fun and engaging way. Through a range of ageappropriate digital and hands-on online games, students will explore concepts in literacy, numeracy, and strategy while building confidence and teamwork skills.
This club provides a safe and supportive environment where students can learn through play, challenge themselves, and enjoy meaningful online gaming experiences with their peers.

The Triathlon Club continues for students currently participating in Triathlon Club in Term 2. Please note there is a day change to Friday mornings. Our club is working towards participating in the SSWA Aquathlon and Triathlon in Term 4.
Please note there are pool sessions this term; information around our training schedule will be communicated to parents.
MULTISPORT CLUB

Love sport but can’t decide which one to play? Play them all! Multisport Club is the perfect opportunity for Years 4–6 students to stay active while trying a range of exciting sports and games. Each week, you'll develop new skills, improve teamwork, and challenge yourself through fun activities that may include basketball, soccer, netball, ultimate frisbee, floorball and more. Whether you're looking to sharpen your sporting skills or simply enjoy playing with friends, Multisport Club is a great way to have fun, keep active and discover a new favourite sport!

HOMEWORK CLUB

Ever feel like it’s hard to squeeze homework in between all your other activities? Or wish you were able have someone help you to understand homework tasks? Wouldn’t it be great to have a specific time to help you finish homework quickly, so you have more time for the fun stuff?
Homework Club gives you a calm, friendly place to get your work done. You’ll have dedicated time to finish tasks, ask for help when you need it, and feel awesome knowing your homework is sorted!
MUSICAL THEATRE CLUB

Musical Theatre continues this term for the current Musical Theatre students only. Students will build on their song and dance routine from a popular musical and perform it at an assembly later in the year.
GAMES CLUB

Love a challenge? Join our Board Games, Cards and Puzzle Club! This fun and friendly club is a great place to build new friendships while enjoying a variety of board games, card games and brain-teasing puzzles. Whether you enjoy strategy, teamwork, problemsolving or just having fun, there's something for everyone. Come along to play, think, laugh and challenge yourself each week!
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CLUB

FIRST LEGO League!
Build robots, solve challenges, code cool creations, and work with an awesome team of fellow innovators.
In Term 3, you’ll learn new skills and discover that Lego League is more than just building Lego!
Get ready to learn, create, and have loads of FUN along the way!
Note: Students remain the same and FLL is not taking any extra students. FLL will run Monday Week 2 through to Week 10.
LEGO CLUB

Mrs Bristow and Mrs Abeyratne are so excited to be a part of Lego Club! Each week, students will be given a fun building challenge or theme to inspire their creativity and problem‑solving skills.
We can’t wait to see the marvellous designs, imaginative ideas and teamwork that will come to life.
Lego Club is a great opportunity for students to build, create and have fun together!
AUSLAN CLUB

Curious about communicating without words? Join our Auslan Club! Auslan (Australian Sign Language) is the language of the deaf community in Australia. In this club, you’ll learn basic signs, play interactive games, discover a new way to express yourself, and explore deaf culture and community. Whether you're a complete beginner or just interested in learning something new, come along and start signing!
SEWING/ CROCHET CLUB
DAY: MONDAY 3:00PM - 4:00PM
LOCATION: KANGAROO
TEACHERS: MRS BURMAN AND MRS HAUG
Join us for a creative journey into the world of textile arts.
Each week we will experiment with fabric and yarn while learning beginner-friendly sewing techniques to create a variety of projects including fabric flowers and small hand sewn pocket hearts.
Come along and let your creativity grow with every stitch.
AFL CLUB

LOCATION: UPPER PRIMARY UNDERCOVER AREA
TEACHERS: MR TSIRONIS AND MRS CRAWFORD
The AFL Club is open to Years 2–4 students who want to develop their footy skills in a fun and inclusive environment, with opportunities for Years 5-6 student coaches to lead activities and support younger students as they build their confidence and skills.
Participants will learn skills, teamwork, and healthy choices through the Let’s Go Freo schools program run by the Fremantle Dockers, including a player‑run clinic later in the term.
Students of all abilities, including those new to AFL and supporters of all clubs, are welcome!
BADMINTON CLUB
DAY: THURSDAY

Join our After-School Badminton Cluba fun, active, and social way for Years 4–6 students to build skills and confidence! Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or already love the game, this club is all about learning new techniques, improving coordination, and enjoying friendly matches with friends.
Sessions will include skill-building drills, mini-games, and match play in a supportive and inclusive environment. Students will develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for staying active, all while having plenty of fun! No experience needed - just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
DRAWING CLUB

Do you love to draw, create, and use your imagination? Come along to Drawing Club, where every week we explore new art ideas, learn cool drawing tricks, and make amazing masterpieces!
Whether you like sketching superheroes, designing animals, or creating your own characters, this club is the perfect place to have fun, make friends, and let your creativity shine.
Everyone is welcome - all you need is your imagination!

We will be learning a song and dance routine from a popular musical and performing it at an assembly later in the year.
