My creative journey began with a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design. In 1984, I founded Johnson Design Group, and served as creative director and principal, while also sharing my passion for design by teaching at the university level. While my artistic focus has primarily been pastel, recently I’ve embraced the richness of oil painting, particularly landscapes inspired by my travels.
Since the Fall of 2021, I’ve been studying with several instructors, exploring diverse painterly techniques, and honing my artistic vision. I’m excited to continue refining my skills and create purposeful, confident work.
