How We Make Affordable JWU
Need-Based Aid
Students with financial need may qualify for a variety of scholarships and grants, including The JWU Pledge, which may cover up to 100% of tuition for eligible students. This initiative is focused on families with household incomes below $200,000.

Merit-Based Scholarships & Grants
Your good grades and extracurriculars can pay off — we have dozens of merit-based scholarships and grants you could be eligible for. Are you a past or present member of a student organization such as DECA or FBLA? You may be eligible for our Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Scholarship or CTSO Leadership Award. Planning a visit to JWU during your senior year of high school? You may qualify for our Visit Grant, which offers up to $5,000 annually to eligible high school seniors who visit our campus before December 1 of their senior year.

Dedicated Financial Planning
You’ll be assigned a personal financial planner who will guide you through every step of the financial aid process. They will explain your financial aid offer, review tuition and fees and walk you through scholarship, grant and loan options to help you build a plan that works for you.

How to Apply
Complete the free JWU application or apply through the Common Application and submit your high school transcripts. JWU does not require an essay or test scores, but we do encourage you to submit them if you have them.
