Greetings from Johnson & Wales University!
I am thrilled to extend my congratulations on <<first>> officially joining the JWU Charlotte community. This is an exciting time for your family, and you must be very proud!
JWU understands the unique needs of parents and family members during a student’s transition to college and has dedicated resources to help you. As director of new student orientation & cocurricular experiences, my main responsibility is to serve as one of those resources, providing you with support throughout <<first>>’s JWU journey. Families contact me when they’re not sure where to turn with a specific question, when they might have a concern about their student or sometimes when they just need someone to listen.
There are important steps your student must take to be ready for enrollment, and our Admissions team will continue to communicate with your family through each one. Both students and their families learn a lot during JWU’s summer New Student Orientation program (you can find details and register at orientation.jwu.edu/charlotte), and I hope to meet you there. I also look forward to greeting families at our Family & Friends Weekend in the fall (Dates will be announced soon!).
