We are excited that «first» is considering JWU Charlotte and wanted to share our commitment to making a JWU education as accessible and affordable as possible. In 2024, 98% of all on-campus students received JWU institutional grants and/or scholarships. As a North Carolina resident, «first» may be eligible for state grant aid.
Here's how to maximize federal, state and institutional assistance at Johnson & Wales:
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at studentaid.gov. JWU’s FAFSA code is 003404
Have «first» create an account and complete North Carolina Residency Determination at ncresidency.cfnc.org/residency/.
To maximize the financial aid package available to «first», be sure they apply for aid before February 1, 2026.
