der. Sometimes if you break the order your dish won’t come out the way you desire. Through shadowing my eighbor who is a physical therapist, I have learned about the many different parts and aspects of the job but ost importantly what it means to be a physical therapist. I have learned that while writing a book can be chalnging, it can also be an enjoyable experience. While researching for my plot, I learned about many pioneers computer science and felt a deeper appreciation for their various contributions to society. I have learned that eating films and videos is something that I am passionate about and it is something that I truly enjoy and can elp me in the future. MY PROJECT WAS A SMALL WAY TO GIVE BACK TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS. My project as to learn about electronics assembly by building a keyboard. I learned that electronics hardware and assemy is really something I am interested in and am interested in pursuing in the future. I have learned the different ays in which JC athletes have struggled through the year in adapting to Corona and its restrictions and finding ew ways to stay in shape. Watching my code and idea work for the first time was an amazing feeling. My focus r my Senior Project was to shed light on the fact that American Sign language is not as common in the world it should be. I LEARNED HOW TO RESTORE MY 1990 GMC JIMMY. The biggest obstacle I had to overcome as actually learning sign language itself. I realized the more you learn, the more similar things start to seem, nd that it was quite difficult to remember every little detail of a particular sign. I learned how it is supposed to ok while learning about how so many people in my family have appreciated this car and have driven it in the ast. My greatest inspiration is pain and sadness, they let me write such beautiful and impactful poems. I owe e success of my project to Gallaudet University, as well as the Deaf/Hard of Hearing communities for pushing e to finish this project. It has taught me so much about time management, and about my own drive. I’m proud of the way that I am able help the kids that I used to coach Even though I can’t see them in person to see how much better they’ve tten. My project shows easy introduction home circuit both in US and China which might help me to fix it when has some problem. I HAVE LEARNED A LOT THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS AND WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. I deed the inspiration for my Senior Project from my peers. When we returned to school in the Fall after quarantine, ad the realization that I was not the only one who had slowly fallen a victim to mental health issues. Yet, none my peers would mention their struggles unless someone else brought it up. I quickly came to the conclusion at it was my job to bring it up, and may job to offer myself as an example. I want to take away the stigma assoated with mental health and show may peers that it makes you stronger to talk about it, as words can be the ost powerful displayers of courage. When I was able to ut my trauma in front of me, in color, I learned that I am greater than the battles I fight. This project taught me y strength is not limited to words. My strength comes from every battle I win. As I watched my paintings come life, I knew that these moments no longer defined me. God is painting my story, and its beautiful. We are the tists, and we hold the brushes. Every hardship is part of His masterpiece. I am proud now understand the sues veterans face and have the ability to use our families non-profit to have to help veterans and their families cover from their injuries. I AM PROUD THAT I CAN SHARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE PASSIONS WITH OTHERS. I have arned that it is not so easy to write music. It can be a hard challenge to think of new music. From my senior oject, I have learnt that it is important to really understand what people need. and gave my own speculation on n important battle. For my senior project I was able to see first hand how much work and patience is needed to uild a pair of wooden skis. This project taught me that even though my journey was difficult, my end goal made the hard work and dedication worth it. I used our senior project as an opportunity to show the growth and marity of the class of 2021 through transformation photos from freshman to seniors. I learned that if a person has dream, the best way to fulfill the dream is starting to pursuit the dream from today! I could be a slow walker, but m on my way! I also learned that it is a long, tortuous process in converting scientific discoveries into products, ut I look forward to celebrating it as my rite of passage in benefiting our community with new science products in ng term. I WAS ABLE TO INSPIRE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE SAME POSITION THAT I ONCE WAS. The focus my project was to create a memorial photo book honoring St. Vincent’s cemetery and those who were buried ere. I am most proud about how well the photo book turned out. Making a photo book was something entirely ew to me and I had no idea how it would turn out. I out many hours into gathering research and photos in order finish this book. For my senior project, I decided to gather a youth group and share my journey from when I arted playing football. As a athlete with many accolades and a bright future, I learned that there are a lot of eople that want to be successful, but they do not know how to go about it. I believe that I was able to use my ory in order to show these kids that it is possible. I was able to revisit places and recreate memories as I hiked rough the same trails my family brought me on when I was just a baby. John Carroll community that supported

My Senior Project allowed me to understand a variety of things about Japanese culture, myself, my family, and my peers. Through folding 1,000 cranes, I was able to reflect on life and think about how much I have grown at John Carroll over the past 4 years. This project allowed me to view the importance of individual cultures and the thoughts of those around me.

The focus of my project was to explore the unique career of being a jeweler through my father. I wanted to learn more about what kind of life he lives and what it's like having a career that he enjoys so much. I also wanted to hear more about how the jewelers in my family began. Not only did I learn that love for your career is one of the best things you can do for yourself, but also to not give up.

HARFORD COMMUNITY COLLEGE The inspiration behind my Senior Project was Delores Pusloskie, my great-grandmother. She became deaf at the age of 4 and successfully finished school as a deaf girl in a hearing environment. My grandmother, aunt and cousin, Charlie, are also deaf. This family genetic condition intrigued me. I learned how American Sign Language (ASL) is beneficial, such as when hearing aid batteries die or when there is a lot of background noise.

TOWSON UNIVERSITY The inspiration for my Senior Project of building a golf cart from scratch came from my uncle. He loves mechanical projects, whether it be working on cars, golf carts, or small engine repair. My uncle started his own golf cart business and is truly an entrepreneur. Since I don't have a deep knowledge of mechanics myself, and he needed help building carts for sale, I thought this would be a great project idea.

Frank Cassidy I made an album produced, performed, and recorded by myself. I've been playing guitar since the 6th grade and have loved every second of it. Ever since then I've always played guitar and tried to sing. With Senior Project, I decided to teach myself how to record songs and mix and master tracks. MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY

My ultimate goal was to prove to people that no matter the objects we use in cheer or the uniform we wear and what we look like when we go to competitions, we still go through the physical, mental, and social challenges as every other sport–sometimes maybe more.

I derived inspiration for my Senior Project from my peers. When we returned to school in the fall after quarantine, I realized that I was not the only one to have slowly fallen victim to mental health issues. I want to take away the stigma associated with mental health and show my peers that talking about it makes you stronger, as words can be the most powerful display of courage.

Creatively it was very enjoyable, and the diligent work of editing (which many find to be tedious), I found to be accomplishing and rewarding. I enjoyed finding unique shots, putting them together, and viewing the project as a whole, looking for any way to improve my vision for the film. I believe Senior Project has helped me find a very enjoyable hobby that I certainly wish to pursue.

SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY I have learned about my family history through interviewing people such as my father and aunt. My grandfather was a Holocaust survivor and was sent to prison, then taken to Majdanek concentration camp where he fought day-to-day for his freedom. He escaped and was recaptured but somehow made it out alive. Whenever I feel like giving up, he is my inspiration to keep going. Writing his story will allow future generations of the Gradus family to understand where they come from, who they are, and what our name stands for.

I made a compost that could be used to grow things and is healthier because it does not contain chemicals. This creates a cycle of composting and using the compost to grow food. It is healthier for the environment because there is less waste going to landfills.

I have a passion for taking care of others and have always been interested in working with children - especially those with cancer and/or disabilities. I reached out to young children. I wanted to give them something to take their minds off endless online school and staying inside away from worldly problems too complicated for them to understand. I extrapolated the results in order to help other students. I had to make some pretty big adjustments to my project in order to follow COVID-19 guidelines. Overall, I have been able to create a version of the Senior Project that I have been dreaming of doing since freshman year.

I chose this project because my college major will be computer engineering, and I've always had curiosity in making drones and filming a video of landscapes using drones. My Senior Project was on my grandfather who passed away a year ago; he was a major influence in my life. He acted as a father figure to me and taught me many life lessons. Throughout this crazy journey, I have learned a great deal. It is most important to never take any day for granted. COVID really affected my recruiting process, but with the help of my coaches and parents, I was able to overcome some adversity and ended up in the best place for me.

VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE The focus of my project was to educate people about the culture of the Osage tribe. I am most proud of sharing my culture and getting the word out that we are still here after all that has happened. Native Americans are overlooked everyday. I created this project in hopes of it being shared so that people will learn about the Osage tribe.

What I learned during this project is that speech language pathology is the career that I want to pursue. It is something I'm passionate about. I've learned so much about this field with my research online and from reading through my cousin's old textbooks.

To her credit, Mrs. Geczy came up wi the idea and I thought it was a really good idea. To get the project started, I needed to connect with my hea coach, Mr. Siler. I already have a good relationship with Coach Siler, which is how I ended up meeting Coa Tim Kutcher, an assistant on the baseball team last year. He runs meetings for the sports analytics club, so reached out to him because I thought he would be a perfect mentor. Lastly I am taking a statistics class wi Mr. Torres which I have enjoyed, which can certainly help me complete my project. I hope to create a reliab tool that gives coaches the insight on situations to give them a statistical advantage this year and for years come. For my Seni Project I am creating a video to show the new John Carroll baseball field and what it means to us as a co munity. I wanted to do this project because over my life I have seen the John Carr baseball field change into what it is today. As a little kid I dreamed of going out on that field and playing th game I love. That dream became a reality and I never thought that I would be playing on an entirely new tu field as a senior at John Carroll. I hope that this project helps the baseball team in the future with recruiting want people to see my project and understand what we have going for us as a baseball team and as a schoo I have always loved science, helping people, and taking care of the environment, I choose to build an outdo classroom at John Carroll because it incorporates all the things I love. It deals with science, I can help th community, and the environment. EVER SINCE I WAS LITTLE I WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE, with this I will he future students have a science classroom outside and they can study all the things that will be included the outdoor classroom. I am creating a curriculum for biology, environmental, chemistry, and physics in whi teachers can base their lessons off of. This will allow for a number of students to utilize this classroom an learn more about each science. For m senior project I am creating a short film on the topic of the Covid-19 pandemic. My project consists of writin filming and editing all the shots that will go into my final cut, along with choosing music to match what I ha shot. I have loved watching movies since I was in 8th Grade, and I always sought out the “best movies” ev made according to online lists and suggestions from friends/family. As I have been watching great movies f about 5 years now, I have studied what made them so great, and when it became time for senior project, the was no doubt I wanted to explore if I could create a short film. I am not a very creative person, as I am mo interested in History, Math, and Science than I am in Music, Art, and Theatre. But creating my own proje from scratch has been a great way for me to be creative and productive in a hobby I find I thoroughly enjoy hope to learn about short film, the process of producing one, how to be inspired creatively, and how much can achieve with my passion for film. For my Senior Project I have decided to look into stress among studen at my school and view how my peers cope with the stress they feel. This topic was prompted by my own stre and thinking about how I help cope with it by relaxing and playing video games. I find myself often not stressi about things like school work until I have too much work and I suddenly feel overwhelmed and wanted to r search more about stress and why my body behaves like this.
