Hi, I'm Joana I have my mind caught in the spirit and freedom of a child, and now as an adult, I write. I write so that this child can be free.
I'm a small sardine from Portugal On the 19th of October 1988, I was born with the burden of being a Libra. Libras need to surround themselves with stunning objects and create environments that reflect their exquisite tastes. Accordingly, these signs make excellent designers, decorators, art critics, and stylists. (say some super credible sites on the web). But the fact is since I'm a little child I was extremely creative. Reading books wasn’t just comprehending the words. It was my escape to enter a new world and to release all the commotion in my brain. Soon reading wasn't enough, so I had to tell all that was on my mind. I never forgot a class that I had at kindergarten that we just lay down and had to imagine a story to tell. I had so many details on the story, colors, smells, and sensations on my characters on my stories that I knew at that point that my imagination was my best friend.
What motivates me Most recently I just find out that my work and the challenges that I put on myself motivates me and give me the energy to do more and create even more. Outside the office, I’m becoming a yôga teacher and my passion are animals and being outside. At the beach, looking at the sea I find my elixir to be forever happy! My career
I'm a native Portuguese speaker. English is my second Language and Spanish my Passion I've started my career working as a freelancer for some blogs, writing about makeup and fashion just for fun, but soon my blog catch the eye of a friend, and she invited me to work with her at KOKET. In 2017 my press relations and copy career begun. Now I’m a Skilled user for words and a passion for storytelling, trying to create some copy magic in this crazy world! With 4 years of experience in communication. I've worked in the B2B space-time enough to understand the fine balance between emotion and facts that is required in the business, also my background in PR has sharpened my ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. In the last year as a Marketing Manager, I’ve gained comprehensive experience spearheading the company’s first-ever integrated, multi-channel marketing program, paid media, as well as the creation of the entire online store and online sales platforms. I'm a Results-oriented and self-driven professional with expectational communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changes. My main power skills are fast decision-making, time management, communication, problem-solving, and team spirit.
