WELCOME to the third annual 3R Cattle Company and Milliron Angus bull sale. This year we have been working hard to offer a set of bulls that can change any program they enter. We are more than excited to host our third annual bull sale and have the opportunity to display a set of cattle that can leave a mark on the cattle industry. From this bull sale we hope to gain great customers and friends that will last a lifetime.

We are just young kids trying to get our feet under us and with this opportunity I think it gives us recognition in the industry and the chance for higher success in the future. Here at 3R Cattle Co. and Milliron Angus we have been trying to build our cow herds to focus on selling the top bulls and heifers for our customers. Our goal is to keep bringing you the best set of cattle year after year. We understand in the first couple years of production there may be some challenges in the way, but we are trying to do everything we can to market these cattle to the best of our abilities.

Onto the bulls, we will have 33 Angus, 16 Simmentals, 5 Herefords, 3 MaineAngus, and 10 Commercials for your appraisal. We will also be offering several genetic lots from the heart of our program. This is our best offering to date, and we think this set of bulls has something to offer for anyone. One thing we put a lot of focus on is structural integrity and foot quality. These bulls all showcase that well. We have a wide variety of types and kinds of bulls. This set of bulls will add the pounds to your calf crop while still maintaining eye appeal producer’s command. One of our main goals is to make sure the bulls work for you and your herd, and we think these bulls can work in a wide range of settings, which is one of the most important pieces to selecting a bull. Whether you are looking for a high percentage Simmental, elite Hereford, eye appealing MaineAngus, or an impressive Angus bull, we have what you are looking for.

As we look into the future we plan to focus on our Angus, Simmental, and Hereford herds to offer you the best of all worlds. ANGUS THE

ANGUS BULLS

As we initiate this years offering, we think there is no better way to start than with this pair of flush brothers. Here at 3R Cattle Co, when we evaluate and select genetics we always start at the ground and work our way up. N504 resembles that philosophy well. He stands on a good square foot and dense bone but still remains smooth and clean jointed. When you study this bull from the side, it is hard to pick a hole in him. He’s well balanced, deep ribbed, ties good out of his front 1/3, and, most importantly, remains attractive when you study him at every angle. Lot 1 is a ¾ brother to last years high seller, RM American Made C412, who sold for an impressive $27,000. When selecting bulls for great maternal traits, N504 fits the bill, stemming from the great Majorie 5737 cow. Whether looking to add easy fleshing abilities, eye appeal, or structural integrity let this impressive Hill Valley Reckoning son be your Next Man Up to get the job done.

ANGUS BULLS

A larger framed, structurally sound bull describes lot 2. In terms of length of spine, being level made, and great looking from the side profile N507 is your man. N507, like his full brother, is great in the angle of his hind leg and knee and is smooth jointed. With losing 5737 two summers ago, there will only be a few more opportunities to get in on these genetics. One thing stands strong, though, all her progeny are easy fleshing, structurally sound, and good-looking cattle from the side profile. Lot 2 is no exception to that. If you’re in need of a bull to add frame and length to feeder cattle, or great feet and legs to replacement heifers I Reckon you’ll find lot 2 come sale day.

ANGUS BULLS

What we want to be known for here at 3R Cattle is producing consistent cattle that are structurally correct, good looking from the side, but still have plenty of muscle shape and dimension. We think these 2 full brothers as lot 3 and 4 resemble that foundation well. When you study lot 3, you’ll find that he reads really correct from the side profile. He is level topped, square hipped, great in the angle of that hind leg, correct in the angle of his shoulder, and his neck ties high out of his shoulder. N541 is a full brother to the bulls that brought $17,500 and $17,000 in last years sale. Also, Lot 3 is a son of the matriarch of our herd, 2712. This cow is known for producing cattle that are functional to retain in a herd and push the envelope in terms of adding what producers look for in selling feeder cattle. On the top side, Ellingson Rider Pride is known for producing cattle that are easy fleshing and structurally correct. This smooth made son would be a great addition to any herd, to breed to heifers, to increase performance, and eye appeal.

As mentioned, lot 3 and 4 are flush brothers who would also be full brothers to two of last year’s sale highlights. Lot 4 is in comparison to his flush brother, lot 3, may be a little stouter when you study pin width and muscle shape. Like his brother though, the same traits remain, structurally correct, level made, and deep sided. I really like this bull when you study him in his front end. He’s smooth shouldered, choke necked, and ties high out of the top side of his shoulder. Study this one in person and you’ll find reasons to like him that a picture won’t show. When you get behind him, he has plenty of width, he is cracked open in his rib cage, he stands on a great foot and bone and just reads correct from EVERY angle. If you can’t tell by now, I love cattle that are good looking but still have enough width and dimension, N549 combines the two perfectly. With a balanced EPD profile and phenotype, lot 4 would be the perfect addition to anyone’s bull battery.

CONNEALY

ANGUS BULLS

HAIR, BONE, SUBSTANCE! Lot 5 is unique in terms of being a larger framed and longer spined direct son of Conley No Limit. When you get behind this bull, you will be impressed with the added width and dimension. In terms of hair, N553 has it. While hair doesn’t add pounds it is important in selling any kind of cattle. Just go to the sale barn and see how cattle sell with fresh hair coats in comparison to those with dead burnt up hair coats. N553 not only has hair but is big boned and huge topped. Lot 5 is another 2712 son, so that means functionality, frame, and feed efficiency.

A more moderate, soft middled, and square made bull describes lot 6. N530 is huge topped and thick ended that will add plenty of true muscle shape and dimension to any calf crop. This Fair N Square son out of the matriarch U20C cow, there is no doubt the maternal capacity this bull has. Lot 6 has had a full brother sell for $11,500 and maternal brothers sell for $15,000 and $7,000. The proof is in the pudding with lot 6. There is no doubt his bull and steer calves will be widely constructed and big middled, but he will also produce very maternal and great milking females.

ANGUS BULLS

BODY, BODY, BODY! In terms of depth of rib and rib shape, lot 7 certainly excels. Not only that, but in terms of muscle shape and width, N505 has it. When you study this bull from the front, he’s wide chested. When you study him from the rear, he’s wide pinned and sets square at the ground. When you study him from the top, he is huge backed. To be able to be this stout and powerful and have that much depth but to be able to still get out and motor around on all four legs is quite impressive. N505 is the first Conley Republic son to ever sell and the only son to sell this year. We’ve been quite impressed with the Republic calves, but they were all mostly females. N505 is not only sired by an up-and-coming legend but is out of an up-and-coming donor prospect, 210. 210 is a Rainfall daughter out of the great 5737 cow, which makes her a maternal sister to lots 1 and 2 on this year’s sale and to last year’s high selling bull. The guess work is done here. If you’re looking for an easy fleshing, square hipped, and beautifully designed bull, get in here on lot 7.

TATTOO. N565 BREED. Angus

ANGUS BULLS

Lot 9 has impressed me more and more every day. Bulls that are structurally correct, smooth made, and eye appealing from the side never go out of style. Then to combine that correctness with foot, bone, hip, and substance is impressive. When you study lot 9, the angle to his hock, pastern, and front knee is so undeniably cool. I am a sucker for smooth jointed, beautifully designed feet and legs, and I think everyone else should be too. Lot 9 is a Raven No Doubt J493 who stamps his progeny with a little extra power and look. Raven No Doubt J493 stems from the same cow family, Raven Black Brigitte D490, that Raven Black Brigitte L24 does. L24 was our pick of the heifers from the Raven herd and was a genetic sale highlight in last years sale with an IVF flush commanding $5,000. If you’re looking to add consistency to your calf crop, lot 9 would be a great herd sire prospect.

Another long spined, good ribbed, and thick ended bull here at lot 10. Again, our 3R Cattle philosophy stands true, great feet and legs and structurally sound. Lot 10 is square hipped, big topped, and big boned. When you study front end design, lot 10 has a smooth and correct shoulder as well as a long extended front 1/3. You certainly have to appreciate cattle like this. Lot 10 is another Raven No Doubt J493 son and out of the great Conley Pure Pride 3639 cow, which is an SAV Extension crossed with the great 5T Power Chip bull. Whether making high quality feeder cattle or retaining good looking replacement heifers, lot 10 is a bull that will work in many different ways.

ANGUS BULLS

Lot 11 is a long spined, deep ribbed, and smooth made Conley A1 son. He is a bull with plenty of bone and substance. When you get behind this bull, he’s thick ended and sets square at the ground. Lot 11 is another bull with another long, extended, and smooth made front end. He stems back to the Conley Mulben Pride cow family with No limit on the top side and the great PR Lady 909 cow on the bottom side. This bull is bred for the purple, don’t miss him come sale day.

Want another thick made and structurally acceptable bull, lot 12 is your man. He’s big and square hipped with plenty of bone and substance under him. This bull is good on the move and has great set to his hind leg. These Raven No Doubt J493 sons are consistent, stout, and powerful, lot 12 is no exception to that. He, like lot 9 and 10, stems back to a SAV Extension daughter. From his EPD profile to phenotype, lot 12 is a herd changer.

ANGUS BULLS

Lot 13 in another bull with plenty of foot, bone, and hair. Stout, thick, and soft middled are also terms that can be used to describe lot 13. He is a Conley Bristow son who has had many high sellers for the Conley firm. If you want to add more eye appeal, foot, bone, and substance to your calves, don’t overlook lot 13.

If you’re looking for a larger framed, wide pinned, and big boned bull, check out lot 14. Lot 14 fits the bill in terms of look, presence, and thickness. He is a Conley No Limit son and is out of a KR Casino sired cow. The genetics are in the blood, all this bull needs is some fine ladies and you’ll have the best set of calves you’ve ever assembled.

ANGUS BULLS

Long spined, level topped, square hipped, and big boned are terms used to describe lot 15. This ransom son has the extra look and presence while still maintaining the structural integrity producer’s command. This is another bull bred in the purple that will work in a variety of settings, climates, and operations.

Sound as a cat, smooth as butter! Lot 16 is an impressive age advantage bull. We love this bull for his added length, depth, and look from the side. Most notably, this bulls structural integrity is hard to turn away from. He’s correct in the angle of his hock, pastern, and front knee, as well as gets out and floats across the surface. This bull is no slouch when you study true muscle shape and thickness, either. Lot 16 is square hipped and stout when you step in behind him. When you study this bulls performance EPD’s and live in person, you’ll see the added performance come through. This Ransom son is a bull you won’t want to miss come sale day as he could work in the flatlands here in SD and all the way to the mountain range in Montana.

ANGUS BULLS

Lot 17 is a bull that will hold up in a lot of settings for being sound at the ground, good footed, and smooth jointed. There is a lot of things to like about this bull, such as his long extended front end to the amount of width he has from behind. He is wedge shaped and a bull you’ll certainly get all your money out of. This bull is a Basin Spur son who goes back to the Conley Mulben Pride cow family. Take a look here and don’t miss lot 17 come sale day.

RM BLACK MAGIC N808

Extra length, extension, and depth of body describe lot 18. From day 1 this bull has been most notable for his structural integrity and easy fleshing abilities. Bulls built like this will hold up in any landscape throughout any type of country. Lot 18 is out of a great milking and functional cow. Whether you’re looking to add performance to your calf crop or selective maternal traits, lot 18 will live up to those expectations.

SIMMENTALS THE

SIMMENTAL BULLS

As we initiate the Simmental offering, we thought there would be no better place to start than with the Conley Bold Venture 330L sire group who sold through this sale in our inaugural sale. Lot 19 has always been noted for his length of spine, wide pin set, and eye appealing silhouette. This bull is out of a W/C VIP daughter that is known for her structural integrity, milking ability, and great look from the side. N568 resembles both his sire and dam with added thickness and eye appeal. Together, let’s go On A Venture and assemble quality cattle that will set the precedence for years to come.

RM BOLD RULER N575

Lot 20 has been a fan favorite since the day he was born. N575 is out of one of my favorite cows we own, known as Tubby. Like his mother, N575 is as stout as you can make them while still being correct in terms of being level topped, square hipped, and soft middled. N575 is extended through his front end while still maintaining a lot of power in his top and hind end. Lot 20, in our opinion, most resembles his sire Bold Venture, the bull that started it all for us. Bold Ruler has the ability to be just as good as his sire, so don’t miss him come sale day.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

BULL POWER! Lot 21 is a freak of nature. This bull is so good in terms of being so up-headed and extended through that front 1/3. Bulls that combine power, rib shape, bone, and squareness like this bull does is hard to find. When you study this bull at the ground he moves with plenty of flexibility and ease. N584 is the youngest bull in the sale, but has the growth a performance to compete with the very best. This very complete Bold Venture son is out of a cow sired by MR TR Hammer. This bull gets us awfully excited, as we think he has the genetic capacity to produce really good cattle.

If you like bulls with some added punch lot 22 is a great choice for you. N511 is as long as a railroad track, as wide as a school bus, and as dense as unrisen bread. Not only is lot 22 a thick made and easy feeding bull, but is very well balanced from the side profile. When you study this bull from behind, front, and the top you’ll notice the true muscle shape and dimension this bull possesses. Lot 22 is out of a first calf heifer sired by the great LKCC Bold Venture 194F. This SimAngus bull will stamp a set of calves with added length, rib shape, bone, and longevity. N511 would be a great calving ease specialist with the added growth and performance to give you a Step Ahead.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

Lot 23 is square built, cracked open in his rib cage, and possesses tons of true muscle shape and dimension. N523 is another level made and eye appealing Conley Identified 0257 son and again is out of a first calf heifer sired by LKCC Bold Venture 194F. When you really study this bull, you’ll notice he possesses a big square hip, great bone and foot, and remains structurally correct. N523 would be a great choice for calving ease will still adding substance and look back into his calves.

RM NEXT LEVEL N578

“Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting…” Lot 24, also known around here as Panda, will make sure you won’t miss him on sale day, and not just because of the extra chrome. Panda would be in consideration for one of the biggest boned and footed bulls in the sale. Not only that, N578 is really good when you study balance from the side profile. He is sired by the great Next Level bull and is out of CKCC Lincoln daughter that works for the Effling firm. We purchased this mating as a flush and couldn’t be more intrigued with how it turned out. If you’re looking to add a little extra style and presence to a calf crop while not being scared of a little chrome, make sure you don’t miss Panda come sale day.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

Lot 25 is a bull we think highly of in terms of completeness. He is level topped, square hipped, and comes out of the top side of his shoulder well. N579 is smooth made while still having extra rib, width, and dimension. Lot 25 and 26 are full brothers sired by Next Level and out of the cow we call Tubby around here. Tubby is an On the Mark daughter that is super complete and stamps her calves with all the extras. Lot 25 is not exception to that. If you like a little more bone and foot while still possessing a great silhouette, N579 would be the bull for you.

Lot 26 is a good footed bull that stands on huge bone. Just like his full brother lot 26 is square hipped, thick ended, big topped, and extended out through his front end. With added look, presence, width, and dimension, N582 is a bull you won’t want to miss come sale day.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

The sire group Eminence has been popular since our inaugural sale. Lot 27 remains to be the same story. N551 is structurally correct with the correct set to his hock and hind leg, but also being smooth and clean jointed. This bull is out of a great milking, easy fleshing, and very complete W/C Loaded Up cow. Lot 27 is really exceptional in terms of look, width, and muscle shape, which makes him a great option on sale day.

RP/BCR EMINENCE H005

SIRE OF LOTS 27 & 28

Length and extension describe lot 28. This Eminence son is long and extended through his front end and also ties high out of the top side of his shoulder. N560 is also level topped, square hipped, and structurally correct. When you study this bull from the side you’ll find he is correct in the angle of his shoulder, hock, and knee. Bulls built like this will hold up in any setting while still remaining functional for a long time.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

WOW, WOW, WOW. This is the first word that will come to mind when studying lot 29. From every angle, it is hard to pick a hole in N537. Lot 29 is quite possibly the BIGGEST hipped, WIDEST topped, and BOLDEST made bull in the whole sale. He is the -est bull. N537 stands on a ginormous foot and bone, but still tracks around with plenty of ease. For being this stout, this bull is impressive in terms of smoothness of shoulder and length of his front 1/3. This wide constructed Just Cuz son is hard to miss when you walk into the pen. Lastly, if you aren’t intrigued enough, N537 is out of and raised by a fist calf heifer sired by Young Dale Honour. If you like bulls well balanced, massive built, and wide constructed, get in where you fit in on lot 29.

Retaining 1/3 semen interest

Lot 30 is considerably one of the most complete bulls in the whole sale. He is level topped, square hipped, and soft middled. This goggle-eyed bull is really good when you study him at the ground. He is correct in the angle of his hind leg and knee and moves across the surface with plenty of ease. N561 is another wide constructed and dense made bull that will add pounds, eye appeal, and structural integrity into any set of calves.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

BOOTS WITH THE FUR! Lot 31 is a soft haired and correct made bull. If you’re in need of a level made, structurally sound bull with still plenty of width and dimension lot 31 fits the bill.

If you’re looking for a smooth made and wellbalanced bull, lot 32 comes to mind. He is another well balanced individual when you study him from the side profile. This bull is great through his front end and gets out and struts his stuff with plenty of flexibility and ease.

SIMMENTAL BULLS

Calving ease specialist! Lot 33 is a smooth shouldered and long spined bull that has come on the more days he’s on feed. You’ll appreciate the structural integrity this bull possesses. At this point, I sound repetitive, but lot 33 is a great bull structurally with some added width and dimension that you won’t miss come sale day.

A big burly bull describes lot 34. This baldie SimAngus bull is big hipped and topped that sits on an adequate foot and bone. 852M is sired by the popular Angus Coney A1 bull that stamps his progeny with added thickness and look and goes back to the great Conley Sheza Star D3 cow on the bottom side. This royal bred bull will work for making feeder cattle, replacement heifers, or other registered seedstock.

HEREFORDS THE

While we may be new with raising Herefords, lot 35 is a very impressive creature. From the side profile, this bull is balanced, square hipped, deep sided, and great in all of his angles. Structurally, this bull sits on a good hoof with plenty of bone. Not only that, but lot 35 is great in the angle of his hind leg and front knee. On the move, this bull utilizes his legs great to get out and hit his tracks perfectly. Lot 35 also has the added pin width and masculinity needed in a bull. In my opinion, breeds don’t really matter, good cattle are good cattle. Lot 35 is sired by JCS El Dorado 3636 and is out of a cow sired by the popular H The Profit 8426. Lot 35 perfectly resembles everything needed in a herd bull, you won’t want to sleep on him on March 21. Retaining 1/3 semen interest

A long extended good-looking Hereford remains here at lot 36. From the side profile you have to admire the silhouette this bull puts together. Lot 36 is square hipped, big racked, and extended throughout his front end. At the surface, lot 36 is good footed, big boned, and clean jointed. This bull has plenty of get up and go and will get out cover a lot of country. Another eye appealing JCS El Dorado son, that will make great looking cattle while still putting tons of thickness and dimension in a set of calves.

Big, Burly, and Stout describe lot 37. Lot 37 is a soft middled, widely constructed, and wellbalanced bull when you study him. You sure have to appreciate the big features this guy has such as bone, foot, and muscle shape. Yet, this bull combines his big features while still being good through his front 1/3 and structurally correct at the surface. This dark pigmented JCS El Dorado Son will sure have a lot of friends come sale day, especially for tracing all the way back to the great Churchill Sensation 028X on the bottom side of his pedigree. Don’t let this big and burly rascal slip by come March 21.

BD.

HEREFORD BULLS

Hereford bulls that are big backed, wide pinned, and great looking from the side profile never go out of style. Most notably, the way this bull remains so level through is topline, but yet floats across the surface with plenty of flexibility and ease is impressive. Lot 38 sits good in his tailhead which allows him to balance really good from the side profile. He is a C Arlo 2135 ET son, which is a bull that throws a little extra style while still packing extra muscle shape and dimension. On the bottom side, lot 38 is out of a cow we purchased from the Buck Cattle firm who stems all the way back to the original UPS Sensation 2296 ET Bull. If you enjoy good genetics while still having the correct phenotype, make sure lot 38 is on your short list come sale day.

Lot 39 is another stout made, big boned, and huge backed Hereford. Structurally, all the Herefords on the sale are remarkable for the structural integrity they possess, and lot 39 is no exception to that. Lot 39 is a Land Frisco 3060 and again goes back to the Churchill Sensation 028X on the bottom side. The genetic capacity is in the blood to produce high quality cattle. Now all he needs is a good home and great cows to be with.

MAINE ANGUS THE

MAINE ANGUS BULLS

A little different pedigree than what we’re used to around here, but as I’ve mentioned it doesn’t matter the breed, if they’re good, they’re good. This powerful MainAngus bull is most notable for the amount of true mass he has. You step in behind him and he’s wide at the base of the ground and wide pinned. Lot 40 is bold in the center portion of his body, and remains honest at the surface. He sits on a good foot and bone while tracking around nicely. We are awfully high on this bull for the amount of sure quality he possesses. Lot 40 is a BOE Epic son and out of a purebred angus cow. For a part Maine bull to be this big framed, wide built, structurally correct, and good looking from the side is very impressive. Don’t let a little extra mass and width scare you away on lot 40.

MAINE ANGUS BULLS

If you’re looking for a long and extended bull, look no further than lot 42. In terms of extended and high tying through that front 1/3, this bull has it. He is level made and well balanced from the side profile. You step in behind him, and he’s got plenty of muscle shape, while still remaining true at the surface. Lot 42 has awesome rib shape and plenty

SATISFACTION CUSTOMER

After purchasing 3R Cattle Co and Milliron Angus bull for two consecutive years, we are very pleased with their performance in our tough climate in Central Montana. The genetics have been a great cross on our cows. We are excited to see the calves from the 2026 calf crop, and look forward to furthering our relationship with both 3R Cattle Co and Milliron Angus!

COMMERCIALS THE

REAL BEEF BULL! Lot 43 has gathered a great number of friends already, and looks to keep growing. Frame, muscle shape, depth of body, bone, and foot are all BIG characteristics of this bull. You want calves that will wean off at big weights, this dude will produce them. From the tip of his nose to his tail head, 9x remains balanced and good looking for being as masculine as he is. He is sired by the great BUSHS American Muscle, who was known for throwing them bigger, stouter, and great looking. This bull would be a ¼ blood Simmental going all the way back to a purebred Simmental cow on the bottom side. The registrations were never kept up on his dam so that is why he stands as a commercial. No doubt though, this bull is one of the best bulls in the entire sale and deserves that recognition, no matter if he is registered or not. You want to produce the best feeder cattle in the country while still being able to retain replacement females, don’t look any further than lot 43.

Another soft made good looking bull is lot 44. Another BUSHS American Muscle son that has plenty of rib, width, and bone. To add to this bull’s quality, he is soft haired and a high performing individual. This bull is out of a great milking and producing commercial cow. While he has no papers, there is no fooling the performance, growth, and productivity that this bull has the capacity for.

BUSHS AMERICAN MUSCLE 904

BUSHS MISS 6066

COMMERCIAL ANGUS COW

Lot 46 in another -est bull. He is one of the biggEST, stoutEST, and boldEST bulls through the entire sale. He is deep bodied, big toped, square hipped, and great boned. Not only is this bull big and stout, but he also remains fresh and good looking through his front 1/3. When you step in front of and behind this bull you will see the amount of width he possesses. Again, he is sired by the great BUSHS American Muscle who makes them consistently stout and good looking. If you appreciate good cattle, even without papers, make sure you find lot 46.

Looking for a bull with a big square hip, deep middle, and well-balanced, look no further than lot 47. At this point I sound repetitive describing the BAM sired bull calves. The amount of pure power and quality these bulls possess is very impressive. Not only are they masculine and powerful but are still good looking in terms of their front ends and balance. If you’re serious about adding frame, stoutness, and eye appeal into a set of calves, take a look at lot 47.

Lot 48 is a long spined, level made, and structurally correct commercial bull. He is another well balanced and put together bull that will impress you come March 21.

Lot 50 is sired by a STAG Good Times son, who is known for throwing his calves with a little extra look and presence. Lot 50 is no exception to that. He is a bull that balances well from the side profile while still having enough width and dimension to be a great selection on sale day.

Lots of muscle shape, depth of body, and great bone explain lot 49. When you study the angle to this bulls hind leg and front knee, you will be impressed. His mother has raised a lot of good embryo calves for us. She milks good and is very correct. This bull is no exception. He has some stoutness and width while still remaining true at the surface. Take a look at lot 49 if you’re looking for a very complete bull.
