After coming back from the pasture during the summertime this bull didn’t miss a beat. Rain, snow, or shine C412 stays in the right condition. RM American Made C412 is a direct son of our pick from the 2023 Bush Angus sale, BUSHS American Muscle. We selected American Muscle for his added muscle, bone, foot, and big square hip. We think C412 reminds us most of his sire. He’s square hipped, big topped, level spined, and can get out and move. This bull stems from a great cow family that milks well and are productive for a very long time. Another added bonus is he’s been one of most docile bulls I’ve worked with. The first calves out of American Made have hit the ground, and are very impressive. They already have the extra growth, performance, and look for baby calves. The name speaks for itself. LT Legend 4467 is and will go down as a legend. We selected Legend based on his completeness, structural integrity, and overall growth and performance. Conley Bold Venture 330L packs the pounds without sacrificing eye appeal or structural integrity. At the surface, Bold Venture sits on a very correct foot, with massive bone, and strides out with plenty of flexibility. Bold Venture is a son of the great Conley Sheza Star D3 cow. D3 sold for $120,000 on Conley Cattle’s 2023 fall production sale. Bold Venture is guaranteed to make either great registered seedstock or market topping feeder cattle commercial cattlemen will fall in love with. When we walked through the bulls we kept going back to the same bull, Level Up. From the side profile, it is undeniable the amount of balance and proportionality this dude possesses. Not only is Level Up great phenotypically but is exceptional on paper. He ranks in the top 15% and 20% for his WW and YW and is also exceptional in the MWW, YG, BF, and REA EPD’s. Whether it be for commercial cattlemen here in the Midwest or all the way up in Central Montana, our cattle will work for you. Not only do we put a lot of focus on providing genetics for commercial guys, but we make sure we are always thinking about the registered seedstock producers. With just starting in this business, growing our reputation is very important to getting our genetics out there.
With structural integrity being a primary focus of our operation, it is guaranteed cattle purchased from us will hold up for a long time. Here at 3R Cattle Company we value high performing cattle, but also cattle that are great looking. Ultimately, cattle sold at the sale barn aren’t bought off of a set of EPD’s so it’s very important we provide cattle that are phenotypically acceptable and have the added growth and performance to back it up. A lot of our focus is also on the female. Ultimately, females retained in our herd have to be functional. For us, cows have to milk good, cover a lot of country, have good feed and legs, and breed back year after year.
In addition to the cattle themselves, we value great relationships with our customers. We do the best we can to best serve our customers. Whether it be selling semen, bulls, or bidding on calves at the sale barn, customer relationships are a primary focus of ours. If the cattle don’t work for our customers, then they aren’t working for us. Again, with just starting and growing our herd, it was important we found some of the best herd sires to breed our cows to. This new business, with being able to then market our herd sires to the public through selling semen, is a goal we’ve had for a long time. We can’t wait to see how 3R Cattle Company evolves over the next few years and how we can best serve our valuable customers!
