Though trained in different disciplines an ocean apart, Bob Bakes and Paul Kropp found common ground in their dedication to uncompromising quality and unwavering integrity.

A London designer known for his elegant sense of proportion and restraint, Bob established his career shaping sophisticated kitchens across the UK. Meanwhile, Paul forged a world-wide reputation for masterful craftsmanship, hand-building bespoke furniture with care and precision in his Michigan workshop.

Together, they founded Bakes & Kropp Fine Cabinetry, a united house of design and craftsmanship guided by the belief that true luxury rests in the balance of beauty and utility, tradition and innovation.

SOFT MODERN

The Soft Modern Collection takes an understated approach to contemporary design with its smooth, monolithic surfaces and flush slab doors. Drawing from European influences, we've made this collection uniquely our own by tempering its modern edge with softer textures, such as natural woodgrain, and varying sheens.

CANTERBURY

The Canterbury Collection is our interpretation of the iconic Shaker style, a beacon of minimalist design and practical elegance. With its clean lines and distinctive framed panel doors, Canterbury complements traditional and transitional spaces alike.

Available in both standard and slim stile and rail thicknesses, the Canterbury Collection balances simplicity with polish.
