Will US Natural Gas Production exceed 3,100,000 million cubic feet in February 2025?

No. A time series model was developed to forecast February 2025 Natural Gas Production. The model identified the seasonality of nat gas production and forecasts February Production at 2,982,295 million cubic feet.

The April 2025 Short Term Energy Outlook (STEO) has a value of 3,224,435 for February 2025. However, this number will not be considered as the STEO data series diverges from the monthly natural gas production data series (See chart below).

Given the strong seasonality of the February nat gas production. I used the data history of the percent change in production from January to February.
