ALL SHOTS TAKEN OCTOBER 2020 DURING SEVERAL WALKABOUTS AROUND NEWCASTLE WEST TOWN CENTRE
I set out with a goal of capturing, if I could, some of the character of Newcastle West town centre and its community. As we approach Halloween BH weekend, the streets and surrounds seem a little strange, subdued. Yet there is also with this a subtle atmosphere or undercurrent of Christmas in the air. Despite this festive astral vibration, shops are preparing to close. Corona virus Level 5 restrictions are about to set in, and long dark winter night are almost upon us.
