These accessories come from the pattern of serpentine curves on Carrie's green shirt.

Carrie's prom style

Carrie used her super power to kill her mother and set her as the statue of St.Sebastian.

Carrie was poured a barrel of pig blood by Miss Hargensen and her boyfriend. Carrie was 'voted' to be the Prom Queen.

Tommy was smashed to death by the iron barrel contained pig blood.

Carrie finally could not bear anything. She began to use her super powe to kill people who bullied her and laughed at her before.

I corcheted the red line and tried to wrap them around the mini draping model and Organza fabric in order to show the effect of Carrie was doused with pig blood.

The prom made Carrie wake up She enjoys slaughter and super power.

I used corcheted red line acrossed holes on the red Organza fabric to make hat and mask so that it makes the model has a bleeding head.

I used skin color Organza and red glue as blood drops to make a mask scraf.

The book contains elements of social criticism , with a strong sense of Christian morality at its core, and is considered by many to be ahead of its time because of Jane's individualistic character and how the novel approaches the topics of class , sexuality , religion and feminism.

In this story, there are two female characters make deep expressions on me, one is Jane Eyre , the other is Mr. Rochester’s ex-wife, Bertha Mason.

The time background of this book is in the end of 1840. Petticoat, corset and dress are the important elements of 1840s fashion style.

The Pre-Raphaelites criticized the style of painting at the time, emphasizing the artist’s personal responsibilities. Against stale things and dogmatic.

While Jane Eyre is a girl who adopt a positive, independent attitude towards love, life and religion.

According to the story, Jane Eyre's experience can be devide into four parts: Lowood School era, Thornfeild Hall era, Moor House era and The Return.

The two most important parts are Thornfeild Hall era and The Return.

When Jane Eyre as a governess in Thornfeild hall, she like the clothed lady in the painting cause she fell in love with Mr.Rochester. The inner emotions of her are oppressed by the status. She needs Mr.Rochester's equal love to awake the strong emotions hidden in her heart.

PT.I JANE EYRE'S GOVERNESS DRESS

GOVERNESS DRESS'S FEATURES: white lace collar decoration & black long dress.

The identity of GAVERNESS is a crinoline cage for Jane Eyre to restrain her inner feeling to Mr.Rochester.

The birds imagery are one of the most important elements of the story.

I extracted the rook and the nightingale which are mentioned in the book as the main elements of the pattern,then I added elements such as fowersand trees to combine with them into medieval-style symmetrical pattern.

William Morris, a founder of the British Arts and Crafts Movement , was especially known for his pattern designs. He created pattern all with intricate, stylised patterns based on nature, particularly upon the native flowers and plants of Britain. He was deeply infuenced by the Pre-Raphaelite art.

PT.II JANE EYRE BACK TO THORNFEILD HALL

At the end of story, Jane Eyre got her uncle's legacy and turn into a rich lady.

After rejecting St.John's proposal, Jane recognize her true feeling, she back to the Thornfeild Hall.

I extracted the silhouette of the kissing couple in the painting as the main elements of the pattern,then I added elements such as messenger-pigeon and flowers to combine with them into medieval-style symmetrical pattern.

PT.III BERTHA MASON

Bertha Mason married Mr. Rochester for her own sweet appearance. But she is a drunk and insatiable person.

In the end, she went mad cause her indulgence makes the genes of neurological diseases grow prematurely and was raised in the attic by Mr. Rochester. She burned Thornfeld Hall with a fre and was buried in the fames

Sleeping dress is the basic dress Regency gown reflect her the nobility of the past.

Big sleeves and high neckline can refect her vanity

The sleeves are shrinking one by one and gradually shrinking to reflect the drama of her life change and fall in hell step by step.

Bertha Mason appeared at Jane Eyre’s wedding in a special way.

Jane Eyre also knew the existence of Rochester’s wife for the first time. Regarding Rochester’s deception, Jane Eyre did not hesitate to leave Thornfeld Hall.

Tie-dye is a traditional and unique dyeing process in Chinese folk.

I used Indigo blue tie-dye the silk. The texture is very irregular, but it looks like a blue fame overall

DANAE------Gustav Klimt

The red-haired Danae is naked, curling up in a small space and the golden coins rain pouring down between her legs.

This painting doesn't show the love between Zesus and Danae. It shows people's pursuit of desire.

I transformed Danae, who was curled up in a small space, into fake fowers decoration on the costume.

Because Bertha Mason was finally buried in flames, I used candles to burn out the texture of the velvet gown.

The golden sequins represent the golden rain that tempts people.

Egon Schiele was an Austrian painter, which is student of Gustav Klimt. His work is noted for its intensity and its raw sexuality, and the many portraits which include nude portraits.

The twisted body shapes and the expressive line that characterize Schiele's paintings and drawings mark the artist as an early exponent of Expression. INSPIRATION

Schiele's work as being grotesque, erotic, pornographic and disturbing. It s foucsing on sex, death and stress.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we also experienced death, pain and stress.

Egon Schiele's paintings reveal a sense of depression and hesitation. His works have distorted limbs, indulgent lines, dynamic brushstrokes and strong color contrast.

His works are based on large areas of warm and dark colors, supplemented by small areas of complementary colors, using uneven and rhythmic brushstrokes to create contrast and strong visual impact, giving people uneasy and distressed.

In addition to making the hip looks more warped, the bustle dress has a lot of wrinkles.

I used my shirt as the draping fabric and make it looks like the silhouette of bustle dress.

There are a lot of folds on the bustle dress. I extracted them and change them on the body, arms and neck in order to make them look like the brush tactility of Schiele's work.

The sleeves of 1880s are very distinctive. There are huge puff sleeves on the top and the cuffs are tightened. The big puff sleeves looks like the huge risks and pressure people taking under the epidemic.

DEVELOPMENT 3

The corset can help women reflect the body curve better. But it will not only cause breathing difficulties but also affect the rib bones. The pressure brought by the epidemic is like the restraint of a waist, making it hard to breathe.
